Our instructors are trained to evaluate the talent level of each individual to maximize their learning experience. We strive to create not only golf s next superstars, but junior golfers who can grow up enjoying this great game. Our program strives to create a fun environment that emphasizes athletic development, as well as a focus on all aspects of the game, including full swing, pitching, chipping, putting, the rules of golf, and course etiquette. Parent s Guide to Junior Golf Every golfer who has children has envisioned their child as the next Tiger like phenomenon. The desire to see your child succeed in a sport you love can put goose bumps on the back of your neck. The problem with this vision is that most parents have no idea how to get their kids to LOVE golf first! For their child to be as great as the superstars they watch on Sunday, they must LOVE to play the game of golf and everything that comes with it! We have developed your Parent s Guide to Junior Golf so you will know exactly how to get your child to love golf. Follow these simple principles and you will develop a playing partner for life!

2 Coaching Program The Year-Round Coaching Program focuses on purposeful practice/training, mental training, and other areas to ready junior golfers for high school and collegiate play. The Coaching Program is designed for like-minded athletes who want to reach higher levels of competition. This program uses a color code system designed to track progress and motivate junior golfers. It includes weekly practices and an option to participate in tournaments held by Man O War Golf. Players must be at least 7 years old and have their own clubs. Our dedicated instructors take a well-rounded approach by teaching golf fundamentals, rules, and etiquette. With our help, each child can begin a lifetime love for the game. At Man O War Golf, we help children learn to enjoy golf at an early age and as they get older and more competitive, we help them reach their goals whether it be winning junior tournaments or earning college scholarships!

3 Spring Training for PGA Jr. League Spring Training is a 6 week long training program designed to give PGA Jr. League golfers a chance to practice and play mock matches before the official summer league begins. This program allows new players to become comfortable with the format, rules, and gives returning players a chance to get warmed up for the summer program. 6 Practices. 3 Mock Matches. $175/Player March 14- April 25 Practice: Every Thursday from 5:00pm-6:30pm Matches: TBD Match Times & Locations TBD PGA Junior League The PGA Junior League is a group of local golf teams who play a series of matches against each other, utilizing a nurturing and social scramble format. The program is available to boys and girls, 13 and under, of all abilities. PGA Professionals exclusively serve as Captains and are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all that encourages skill building and character development. We have weekly practices and social events during the summer season. May 16 - July 18 $275/Player Practice: Every Thursday from 5:00pm-6:30pm Matches: 8 practices over 10 weeks (Off May 30th and July 4th). Finalized schedule will be released once all teams have been formed. Each team will have 5 matches.

4 Summer & Spring Break Camps Fun, beginner level program dedicated to growing juniors love for the game while building skills and athletic ability. These four-day camps focus on full swing, pitching, chipping, putting, the rules of golf, golf fitness, and course etiquette. $175/Player The kids participated in the Juniors Camp last week. (7 year old boy and 13 year old girl.) They had a blast and learned a lot. All of their coaches were great! Their improvement shows all over the board, but mostly in their confidence. We will definitely be participating in the camps again! Summer - Holly L. Junior Camper Mom of 2 AVAILABLE CAMPS: June 3-6 June 10-13* June June 24-27* July 8-11 July 15-18* July July 29 - Aug 1* Aug 5-8 Every camp is Monday-Thursday Morning session 9:00am-12:00pm Afternoon session 1:00-4:00pm * denotes morning and afternoon sessions available Spring and Summer camps are designed for players Between 6 and 14 years old Saturday Morning Clinics The Saturday Morning Junior Clinics are a great way to get a child started in golf. This weekly program is designed for beginner and intermediate juniors. The areas of instruction vary each week and include full-swing, short game, putting, and golf fitness. The focus is on having fun, building skill, introducing juniors to golf, and nurturing athletic ability. If juniors do not have golf clubs, appropriate size clubs will be provided to them and no additional cost! Clinics are year-round! 3-6 Years Old 8:30-9:00am $ Years Old 9:00-9:45am $ & Up 10:00-10:45am $15.00

5 FALL Junior League The PGA Junior League is a group of local golf teams who play a series of matches against each other, utilizing a nurturing and social scramble format. The program is available to boys and girls, 13 and under, of all abilities. PGA and LPGA Professionals exclusively serve as Captains and are responsible for creating a welcoming environment for all that encourages skill building and character development. This program allows juniors to continue with the Jr. League into the Fall season. $175/Player August 16 - September 26 Practice: Every Thursday from 5:00pm-6:30pm (No practice the week of Labor Day ) Matches: Weekends starting Aug 24. Finalized schedule will be released once all teams have been formed. Each team will have 3 matches. Junior Program Open House Stop by Man O War Golf on February 26th or March 7th for a Junior Program Open House. 6 Coaching Program Tournaments $20/Player Coaching Program Tournaments will be held during the Spring, Summer, and Fall sessions. We will host 3 tournaments per session. All tournaments are optional, but we do encourage all students to participate. Players must be signed up and paid before the day of the tournament. All players will start at 50 yards out from the green and play from those tees until they can shoot 39, or better in 9 holes. This program was designed to allow each player to play from yardages that suit his or her skill level.
