It s nearly time to tee-up at the Chamber Golf Classic which takes place on Monday, June 17, 2019 at the prestigious Oak Pointe Country Club, an exclusive member-only club in Livingston County. This has always been a very popular event, attracting a wide range of decision makers, community leaders and entrepreneurs who enjoy building and strengthening business relationships, making deals and having fun. This scramble is for all types of golfers those new to the sport as well as advanced golfers. The scramble format is not intimidating even a novice can enjoy the day. But the format works, because it can also keep the day competitive for serious golfers. Golfers can select to play on either Oak Pointe course (both the Champion and Honors courses are ours for the day). Course assignments are made on a first come first serve basis. Golfers are also given a chance to showcase their skills during the longest drive, closest-to-the-pin and the ever-competitive putting green contest. Then, following a successful round of golf, attendees will gather in the clubhouse for a delicious meal, networking and the announcement of course winners.
