In the event of a tie for the first- and second-place team or individual qualifiers, a sudden-victory playoff shall be used to determine the qualifiers who will advance to the Florida High School State Championship Series. The hole(s) for the sudden-victory playoff will be determined by the tournament committee and will be part of the information provided at the pre-tournament coaches meeting Gold Tees 6800 yards $25 per player + $20 per school checks made out to East Lake High School Each Team will receive one coaches cart Based on availability, spectators may rent electric carts for $20.00, but must remain on the cart paths and follow FHSAA rules. Electronics: Range Finders are allowed for distance only. The use of electronic equipment for the purpose of voice communications is prohibited on course by the players, coaches, and spectators Pull Carts: Yes Rules Questions: A rule official will be on each side. If there is a rules question and there is rules official present, play two balls under Rule 3-3 and declare which ball will be used for scoring. As soon as it is practical, notify a rules official to receive the correct ruling. The first- and second-place teams and the two lowest-scoring individuals who are not members of the advancing teams in each regional tournament shall advance to the Florida High School State Championship Series. Pairings and tee times will be based on district tournament scores. The host school will determine and tee times to schools with qualifying teams and individual competitors by 9 a.m. Friday of Week of October Local Rules Out of Bounds. (a) Defined by inside points, at ground level, of white stakes, lines and perimeter fence posts.

3 (b) When the inside edge of a paved road or curb defines out of bounds, a ball that is on or beyond the road or curb is out of bounds even though it may lie on another part of the golf course Water Hazards and Lateral Water Hazards. When a water hazard or a lateral water hazard is bounded by out of bounds, the hazard margin extends to and coincides with the out of bounds line Ground Under Repair. Defined by white lines. Other areas of ground under repair, even when not marked, include: (a) French drains (trenches filled with stones or the like) (b) Fire ant hills (Note: For a player whose ball is in a water hazard and is affected by a fire ant hill, see Decision 1-4/10) Sod Seams. Through the green, sod seams (not the sod itself) are deemed to be ground under repair, and relief is available under Rule 25-1 if the ball lies in or touches a sod seam or a sod seam interferes with the area of intended swing. All seams within the sodded area are considered the same seam Obstructions And Integral Parts Of The Course (a) When located within hazards; liners in bunkers and artificial walls and pilings are integral parts of the course unless otherwise provided for in Notice to Players. (b) White lined areas tying into obstructions are part of the obstruction. (c) When closely attached to trees, wrappings, electrical wire, and cables are integral parts of the course Embedded Ball Through The Green. Local Rule as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect Loose Impediments. Wood chips and mulch are loose impediments Distance Measuring Devices. Distance measuring devices may be used under the guidelines of the USGA rules of golf. Misuse will result in disqualification Conditions Of Competitions List Of Conforming Driver Heads. Optional Condition as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect List Of Conforming Golf Balls. Optional Condition as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect Time Of Starting. Optional Condition as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect Pace Of Play. See separate memorandum to players for pace of play guidelines, when applicable Suspension of Play Due to a Dangerous Situation. Optional Condition as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect. All practice areas are closed during suspension for a dangerous situation until the Committee has declared them open. Players who practice on closed practice areas will be asked to cease doing so; failure to comply may result in revocation of entry.

4 Lansbrook Golf Course Directions CALL THE GOLF SHOP W ITH QUESTIONS AT FROM TAMPA-HILLSBOROUGH AVENUE Hillsborough Avenue, head west (turns into Tampa Road in Pinellas County) through Oldsmar. Stay on Tampa Road, do not take S.R Take Tampa Road to East Lake Road, make a right (Boot Ranch Shopping Center on corner). Go to fourth traffic light (Village Center Drive on left, Ridgemoor on right). Turn left on Village Center Drive. Lansbrook is about three blocks on right, across from YMCA. FROM TAMPA - S.R. 60 Take S.R. 60 to Courtney Campbell Causeway. Exit on to McMullen Booth Road (heading North). Stay on McMullen Booth, pass Curlew Road, over Tampa Road. At this point, McMullen Booth changes to East Lake Road. Go to third traffic light (Village Center Drive on left, Ridgemoor on right). Turn left on Village Center Drive, Lansbrook Golf Club is located three blocks on the right, across from the YMCA. FROM CLEARWATER Highway 19 North to Curlew Road, make a right, go to McMullen Booth Road, turn left. Go over Tampa Road. At this point, McMullen Booth changes to East Lake Road. Turn left on Village Center Drive. Lansbrook Golf Club is located three blocks on the right, across from the YMCA. FROM ST. PETERSBURG Take Bayside Bridge from Ulmerton Road. The name of the road changes to McMullen Booth when you come over the bridge. Take McMullen Booth Road (heading North). Stay on McMullen Booth, pass Curlew Road, over Tampa Road. At this point, McMullen Booth changes to East Lake Road. Go to third traffic light (Village Center Drive on the left, Ridgemoor on the right). Turn left on Village Center Drive. Lansbrook Golf Club is located three blocks on the right, across from the YMCA. FROM TARPON SPRINGS From U.S. 19, turn left (East) on Tarpon Ave. Go three miles to East Lake Road. Take a right on East Lake Road and go 3.3 miles. Go past the first Lansbrook entrance to the second entrance. Take right on Village Center Drive. The club is two-tenths of a mile on the right, across from YMCA.

Further, the FSGA TIMING Pace of Play Policy is in effect. Disregard any Local Rules found on the club scorecard or posted at the club. <<< GOLF PRO SHOP PHONE # : (727) >>> FORMAT: 18 holes of Team and Individual Stroke Play TEES MARKERS: Boys GOLD Girls - RED SHOT GUN STARTS: Boys 08:00 am Girls 1:30 pm PACE of PLAY: 4 hours + 51 minutes. SPIKE POLICY: Traditional metal spikes are PROHIBITED Penalty: DQ PUSH / PULL CARTS: Allowed DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES: ALLOWED for distance only may be used under the guidelines of the USGA rules of golf. (refer to Rule 14-3) ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT / CELL PHONES: OFF FOR PLAYERS, SPECTATORS, COACHES. NOTE: A COACH may call golf pro shop if need any assistance includes needing a rules official. AUTOMOTIVE TRANSPORTATION: Players MUST NOT ride in any form of transportation during stipulated round unless authorized by a Rules Official; however, in case of an EVACUATION: Players may ride in any available cart including spectator carts. DISCONTINUE PLAY IMMEDIATELY: One (1) prolonged blast of air horns Penalty: DQ Rendezvous point is in the Clubhouse Grille Room DOUBT AS TO PROCEDURE: Rule 3-3: IF NO Rules Official present, player may complete the hole with two balls: After doubt has arisen AND BEFORE taking ANY further action you: (1) should tell fellow-competitors you intend to play two balls; (2) should state which ball you wish to count for score (if rules permit); and, (3) regardless of score, MUST report all facts to Rules Committee before returning scorecard. IF you fail to report all facts to Rules Committee Penalty = DQ. OUT of BOUNDS: Unless otherwise marked, includes areas defined by inside edge at ground level of: (a) Perimeter fence posts and walls; (b) Paved parking lots; (c) Any white boundary stakes and/or white line; (d) Curb of public roads. NOTE: A ball that crosses a public road and comes to rest beyond that road is deemed OB even though it may lie on another part of course. Also, all homeowner s properties are OB. WATER HAZARDS: All are (RED) Lateral Water Hazards. The RED line both identifies and defines the hazard margin. INTEGRAL PARTS of the COURSE: (a) When located within hazards artificial walls and pilings are integral parts of course unless otherwise specified; and, (b) All NON-artificially surfaced cart paths and walk paths; (c) Railroad ties. IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS: Includes (a) Artificially-surfaced cart paths, (b) Concrete curbing adjacent to cart path is deemed a part of cart path / obstruction; (c) Shelters and comfort stations; (d) Stakes and support wires/cables of staked trees; (e) Wood posts and railings; (f) Liners in bunkers might be a movable obstruction. FREE RELIEF is granted under Rule 24-2b. HORTICULTURE BEDS: Played as through the green. EXCEPTION: Any bed encircled by an artificially-surfaced cart path is deemed to be part of the obstruction (cart path) in which FREE RELIEF is granted under Rule DROP ZONE: Hole 7 SCORECARDS: IMMEDIATELY return scorecards to scoring area located in the Clubhouse Grille Room. A player is considered to have returned his scorecard when the player leaves the scoring table without his/her scorecard. PLAY OFF for TIES: There will be a sudden-victory hole-by-hole play-off beginning on a hole designated by the Committee following completion of play by all players. It is the competitor s responsibility to be present for any play off RULES COMMITTEE: Johnny Williams (OIC) and Don Roberts

See applicable Championship or qualifying round Notice to Players and FSGA Championship Policies for additional Local Rules and Conditions. EMBEDDED BALL THROUGH THE GREEN: Local Rule as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect. LOOSE IMPEDIMENTS: Wood chips and mulch are loose impediments. TURF PLUGS: On putting greens, turf plugs have the same status as old hole plugs and may be repaired under Rule 16-1c. Florida High School Athletic Association Local Rules and Conditions of Competitions (Effective January 1, 2017) DISTANCE MEASURING DEVICES: In all FSGA Championship and qualifying competitions, a player may obtain distance information by use of a distance- measuring device. If, during a stipulated round, a player uses a distance-measuring device to gauge or measure other conditions that might affect his play (e.g., elevation changes, wind speed, etc.), the player is in breach of Rule ACCIDENTAL MOVEMENT OF A BALL ON A PUTTING GREEN: Rules 18-2, 18-3 and 20-1 are modified as follows: When a player s ball lies on the putting green, there is no penalty if the ball or ball-marker is accidentally moved by the player, his partner, his opponent, or any of their caddies or equipment. The moved ball or ball-marker must be replaced as provided in Rules 18-2, 18-3 and This Local Rule applies only when the player s ball or ball-marker lies on the putting green and any movement is accidental. Note: If it is determined that a player s ball on the putting green was moved as a result of wind, water or some other natural cause such as the effects of gravity, the ball must be played as it lies from its new location. A ball-marker moved in such circumstances is replaced. CONDITIONS OF COMPETITIONS LIST OF CONFORMING DRIVER HEADS: Optional Condition as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect. LIST OF CONFORMING GOLF BALLS: Optional Condition as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect. PACE OF PLAY: See separate memorandum to players for pace of play guidelines, when applicable. SUSPENSION OF PLAY DUE TO A DANGEROUS SITUATION: Optional Condition as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect. All practice areas are closed during suspension for a dangerous situation until the Committee has declared them open. Players who practice on closed practice areas will be asked to cease doing so; failure to comply may result in revocation of entry. Discontinue Play Immediately: One prolonged signal note. Discontinue Play: Three consecutive short signal notes, repeated. Resume Play: Two short signal notes, repeated. CLOSE OF COMPETITION: The competition is deemed to have closed when the winner has been announced, or, in the absence of a prize ceremony, when all scores have been approved by the Committee.
