At The Links of GlenEagles you will find a pristine course lush green fairways, almost 100 bunkers filled with the whitest of sand and exciting changes in elevation.

We have been active in the Calgary and area golf community for over twenty-one years through our ownership and operation of both HeatherGlen Golf Course and The Links of GlenEagles in Cochrane. We continue to strategically enhance our operations, as evidenced by the purchase of Blue Devil Golf Club and the newly opened Serenity Golf Course with Dancing Bull now open and Sun Catcher opening soon this facility is just 1 minutes East of Blue Devil Golf Club on Hwy 22x. FRONT NINE GLENEAGLES 1 Hit the green or be short on this testy little hole.

6 A tee shot up to black/yellow pole is required for visible shot to green.

5 FRONT NINE GLENEAGLES 1 Hit the green or be short on this testy little hole. Top tee is 7ft above green - this is about three clubs less than the distance. 6 A tee shot up to black/yellow pole is required for visible shot to green. Approach shot should favour the more forgiving left side. Be careful of fast putts from back to front. 2 A great risk reward hole! Hit a long drive and you can consider going for the green. Approach shot plays uphill more than it appears. Be careful of ravine on lay-up. 7 Hole plays more downhill than it appears. Tee shots usually run to the left when they hit the fairway. Be aware of pin position when laying up to avoid tricky pitch shot. Playing to the left wagon wheel is the safest play, it will leave a long-mid iron in. Once you have played this hole, you will have a good idea how much to cut off on the tee shot. 8 The tees are much higher than they appear. The front tees are a club shorter and the back tees are usually two clubs shorter than the distance. Left bunkers should be avoided. Gentle looking hole is tricky. Left of green is more difficult to recover from than it appears. Below the pin is important because of slope of green. 9 Tee shot to black/yellow pole is perfect. Gamblers may try and fly the bunker leaving a short pitch. Protect from being long on approach shot. Short of pin is best. Forget about reaching green in two. Two careful shots to black/yellow pole will result in lower scores than trying to play the hole aggressively.

BACK NINE GLENEAGLES 1 10 Do not try to cut the corner. Just short of the fairway bunkers is the best position to approach the green.

No trouble short and right as you approach this elevated green that is partially blind. 11 A very dangerous hole that should be played carefully.

16 This long hole teases you to play down the left side. This is dangerous as the rough is deep and penal.

Most players will hit three or four clubs less than the distance indicates. 17 Club selection is very important here, as the green is shallow and wide.

A shot to black/yellow pole puts you in good position. Play aggressive to left side pin place-ment and careful to right side pin placements.

6 BACK NINE GLENEAGLES 1 10 Do not try to cut the corner. Just short of the fairway bunkers is the best position to approach the green. Favour the right side on approach shot. 1 Staying on the fairway is very important to avoid a high score on this teaser. No trouble short and right as you approach this elevated green that is partially blind. 11 A very dangerous hole that should be played carefully. Shorter hitters should not try to reach the green in two. The escarpment comes in to play past the fairway bunker. 16 This long hole teases you to play down the left side. This is dangerous as the rough is deep and penal. Long fairway shots have a good chance to reach the green. 12 Green is larger than it appears off top tees that are 10ft above the green. Most players will hit three or four clubs less than the distance indicates. 17 Club selection is very important here, as the green is shallow and wide. Taking an extra club if you have any doubt is a wise choice. The hill behind the green acts as a back stop. 1 Short and dangerous hole. A shot to black/yellow pole puts you in good position. Play aggressive to left side pin place-ment and careful to right side pin placements. 18 Tee shots are best that come to rest left of bunker. Longer is alright but may leave a downhill lie. Be aware of elevation change on the approach shot and favour the right side. A long drive here lets you go for the green in two. If you lay up, stay short of green that is 60 yards from green. Keep approach shots short of pin to avoid very fast downhill putts. 6

GlenEagles is challenging, but it is also fair. The golf course is a championship design measuring over 7000 yards from the back tees, and 000 yards from the front tees. This ensures that each golfer is able to select a difficulty appropriate to their skill-level. 2. How does GlenEagles stand apart from other courses in the area? As a public golf course, what programs are in place to ensure that I can golf at the times I desire? GlenEagles full members receive 60 days, Weekday and Young Professionals receive 7 days advance booking which allows plenty of time to get your preferred tee times. We also have a policy of no shotgun events on weekends meaning you will never go without a teetime.. Why did GlenEagles select this membership model? GlenEagles wanted to create a stress free membership for maximum enjoyment with no assessments and hassles. GlenEagles is fully responsible for keeping the course in the highest possible condition at all times. Any upgrades required will never be the member s financial concern. 12

Any member expelled from the club will receive a prorated refund of One Seventh of their dues per month remaining in the golf season April - October. GlenEagles conduct review policy is designed to protect the interests of the majority of the membership from the inappropriate actions of a few..
