Registration Deadline September 30, 2017 We are pleased to continue the charitable success by hosting our 3rd annual Patriot Golf Tournament this year to be held at Innisbrook Resort and Golf Club in North Palm Harbor, FL. At FIS, we proudly support our men and women who serve our nation, and over the past seven years we have raised over $114,000 All proceeds from this event will benefit our three chosen military charities: Fisher House Foundation Southeastern Guide Dogs: Paws for Patriots Support the Troops We look forward to seeing you there! The Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans families can stay so they are close to their loved one during hospitalization for an illness, disease or injury all at no cost to them. These homes are located close to the hospital or treatment facility so during their stay they will not have to travel far and can feel like they are at a home away from home. Southeastern Guide Dogs: Paws for Patriots, provide guide dogs who offer independence and freedom to visually-impaired veterans, restoring confidence and dignity. They also have service dogs to help veterans toward healing from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, facility therapy dogs to offer comfort to wounded warriors who are far from home and emotional support dogs for veterans who need a companion to alleviate symptoms of a disability. 2 Support the Troops sends care packages for our military overseas. Many of the items sent fulfill personal requests from our troops for simple everyday items, such as shoe-sole inserts, coffee, tea, cigars and personal hygiene items. Bob, founder of Support the Troops, has personally visited our service men and women in remote and dangerous places and noticed things missing that the troops need to make their jobs easier; like spotlights, flashlights, red dot scopes and knives.
