3 What Is GolfMark... GolfMark is the national accreditation scheme designed to support all golf clubs, however big or small, achieve a positive impact on four key areas of business: RECRUITMENT & RETENTION OF MEMBERS supporting your club to attract new members and players and increase the participation of existing members BUSINESS MANAGEMENT & SUSTAINABILITY helping to develop your club through practical business planning SAFEGUARDING ensuring your club has appropriate policies and procedures in place IMPROVED COACHING & COMPETITIONS enhancing coaching and playing opportunities at your club for all golfers The revised GolfMark programme has a strong focus on ongoing improvement to help clubs develop and progress. This features a number of processes including, self-evaluation and benchmarking to measure impact and the integration of high performing areas to support clubs to continually improve and enable them to become high performing. Through the GolfMark process, clubs will produce an annual action plan which will provide an effective means of maintaining the GolfMark standards, pinpoint action areas to address and highlight priorities for individual club. In the two summers since we achieved GolfMark accreditation we ve had 140 adults join and 46 juniors Ian Baker Retired General Manager Bramshaw Golf Club Like us at facebook.com/englandgolf Tweet Visit
