4 G O L F The Peterborough Golf and Country Club has a formidable history featuring many of Ontario s greatest golfers. But you don t have to be a champion to play 18 holes in under four hours on our Stanley Thompson-designed, walkable, golf course. Our par 71, Audubon registered course with its diverse mixture of mature trees and spectacular views of the Trent Canal offers members a player-friendly layout. Golfers of all abilities have the opportunity to challenge themselves. At the Peterborough Golf and Country Club, our innovative Personalized Membership Plan allows you to choose the level of membership that suits you best. There are no restrictions on advanced tee time bookings and no blackout periods regardless of your membership level. We have a variety of leagues for all levels of play and our PGA of Canada Professionals will help you to improve your game with custom club fitting and lessons. All members have full use of our practice facility where you can warm up, refine your skills or spend an hour on days when your time is limited. Members also enjoy reciprocal privileges at a number of area clubs.

7 As a curling member of Peterborough Golf and Country Club you will discover a friendly welcoming environment. Our four-sheet rink is an integral part of the club and curlers enjoy year-round dining and social privileges. We have leagues to suit everyone from novice to competitive. You will have the opportunity to participate in bonspiels and inter-club tournaments as well. Our highly successful Learn to Curl program, with Club Certified coaches, has introduced the game to many new players. Curling members also have limited access to the golf course. CURLING

For those special occasions, reserve White Linen Service in the cosy Stanley Thompson Room with a traditional menu, fine wines and exclusive service. You will delight in our special events such as wine dinners, music nights, barbecues and spectacular festive brunches. Play bridge and make new friends with our bridge groups. Our facilities are ideal for important events in life such as weddings, or other celebrations, as well as corporate events and meetings for as many as 200 people. Social members also have limited access to the golf course.
