Here are some examples of our impact right here in Georgia last year. *Annually 11,654 nights of free or reduced cost lodging for cancer patients and their families traveling for treatment. 3,677 rides to treatment through the Road to Recovery program. Answered 9,941 calls for information and guidance to our National Cancer Information Center, which is free and available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. 2,218 patient support interactions with Society Patient Navigators. 886 women helped with appearance-related side effects of treatment. Currently funding $4.8 million in cancer research grants at Georgia institutions.
