1 Dear Brother Knights, Kansas Knights of Columbus On behalf of the members of Greeley Council # 1901 and the St. Aloysius Council #1913 at St. Paul Olathe, we wish to invite you to the of the Kansas State Knights of Columbus to be held May 3rd thru May 6th, 2018 in Overland Park. Our Councils have been working diligently to ensure that the 2018 State Convention is an experience of a lifetime. Make plans now to join us in Overland Park to help our councils celebrate 100 years of fraternalism in Kansas and to Love Your Life! All efforts are being made to make your stay in Overland Park a time to relax, enjoy great food, long time friends and good times. We also hope you take advantage of the shopping and entertainment that the Overland Park area has to offer. The report of credentials from the council DOES NOT register you for the convention. Please take the time to register for the convention and order your tickets prior to the April 1st deadline. Remember that the convention registration DOES NOT reserve you a room. You MUST make your hotel reservation by April 1st to obtain the negotiated price. There is an option register for a hotel room, that information can be found in the registration chairman letter. Please also view the enclosed Program Book Advertising Information and submit ad s no later than March 31st. Also be sure to review the information on the Golf Tournament being held at Prairie Highlands Golf Course located on the west side of Olathe, Thursday May 3rd. Note there are two different tee off times. Shotgun start at 8:00am and tee times beginning at 1:00pm. 4 Brother Knights, Kansas Knights of Columbus Registration Information For your convenience, we are offering two registration methods for the 2018 Kansas State Council of the Knights of Columbus. To register by mail obtain a copy of the 2018 Registration Form from your Grand Knight or download and print the form from fill out the form and mail it along with your payment for tickets to the address provided on the form. To register online go to and enter the required registration information along with your ticket selections. You will be able to pay online with PayPal. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THE CREDENTIAL FORM SUBMITTED BY YOUR COUNCIL DOES NOT REGISTER YOU FOR THE CONVENTION. YOU MUST SUBMIT EITHER A PAPER FORM OR REGISTER ONLINE. Regardless of your registration method, we will be confirming all registrations via or phone after full payment has been received. There is no guarantee that tickets for the Convention Banquet, Ladies Luncheon or Friday night meal will be available at check in...please ORDER EARLY! You are responsible for making hotel accommodations. The rate for the hotel is $99 per night plus applicable tax. Please call the hotel or you can also make reservations online at group.doubletree.com/knightscolumbus. The preferred method of reservations is online to ensure accuracy. Derby Hat Contest The 144th running of the Kentucky Derby will be later that day of May 5th. We would like to see the ladies in your best Derby hat, just like you would see on TV. The hats will be judged during the luncheon and the winner will be announced at the end of the luncheon. The winner will receive a Kentucky Derby inspired gift pack.
