Label garage sale tags with $1, $5, $2, $1, 1 tickets & 5 tickets in the amounts listed in chart to right. Blow up balloons prior to event Tie garage sale tags onto balloons prior to event (In 27 much of the night was spent tying the tags to the balloons and it was difficult to keep up with the replacement of the balloons on the board) Place balloons in large black garbage bags. Use magazine pictures that are the current theme to cover the board. Place board on table and lean board against wall. (Boardwalk games are located on walls that have lots of glass. Dart games were located between the attendance office and the counselor s office in an effort to keep darts away from glass walls. Use masking tape to tack balloons along with their money/ticket tag to the Styrofoam board. (Tape should be stuck to the string as the balloons will pop if contact made with tape) When sizable empty spaces start appearing tape up more balloons w/tags up. to stand behind 1 X 1 area for this game. Everyone was able to pop at least one balloon per each try. This game should have 2 volunteers as it is difficult to keep the board full of balloons as the players pop them quickly. case any money & tickets earned would be Note: Both money & ticket balloons can be on the board at the start of the event, but be sure all money balloons get used up before the event is over. Money Balloons (143 balloons) $1 X 2 = $2 $5 X 16 = $8 $2 X 25 = $5 $1 X 1 = $1 Tot 143 $25 Ticket Balloons (7 balloons) 1 tkts X 2 balloons 5 tkts X 5 balloons Tot 45 tkts 7 balloons (total of 3 darts) no hits = 2 tickets (for trying) 143+7=233 balloons recommend 3 balloons as they ran out last year.
