2 OUR CLUB PHILOSOPHY EVERYONE IS WELCOME AT CHALAMBAR GOLF CLUB! WE HAVE A LONG AND PROUD HISTORY, BUT THAT DOESN T MEAN WE ARE STUFFY OR STUCK IN THE PAST. Instead, we work hard to create a more relaxed atmosphere in which all people are made to feel welcome. Chalambar is not an exclusive club. For this reason, we have created a range of flexible membership options to cater for people of all ages and abilities. Never played before? Now is a great time to start! Golf is such a great way for you and your family to get fit whilst enjoying time outside in a beautiful natural environment. It s also a great way to meet new people and forge stronger links with your local community. DRESS REGULATIONS No club ties or socks here! Although we do ask that players are neat and presentable at the club, casual attire is perfectly fine. Neat casual is the order of the day. Please no singlets or bare feet.

5 FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q. Do I have to join for a full 12 months? A. Not at all! You can join at any time of the year and pay a pro rata rate to see out the rest of that year. Q. Are there flexible payment plans available? A. Absolutely! You can opt to pay in monthly instalments for most membership types. Q. I only want to play during the summer months. Can I do that? A. We have developed a membership option especially for people who like to hibernate in winter! Our summer membership option entitles you to play for the duration of the daylight savings period. Q. I work full-time. How can I be sure I ll get good value for my membership? A. Not all golf is a day-long commitment! Simply pop in to the club any evening after work for a breezy nine holes and you re home well before dinner! The nine-hole Par 3 course takes about 40 minutes to complete. Even time for a cool drink before you go! Q. I m in town temporarily for work. Do I need to take out a 12-month membership? A. Our Temporary Worker membership option was created especially for people just like you! This membership is a month-by-month proposition. Cancel at any time. Q. My children are interested in learning to play golf. Can they join? A. We love seeing youngsters on the course at Chalambar! Membership for juniors under the age of 18 is totally free. We just ask that juniors under 12 are accompanied by an adult at all times. (Also, come along to one of our Kids Clinics during the year.) We also have membership options for students aged 18 to 21 and young people aged 18 to 24. See our website for details. Q. Does the club offer social events and activities? A. We have a great calendar of events at Chalambar, ranging from our Beer and Food Golf Day in February to monthly bands on the deck, barefoot bowls, charity golf & bowls days and more, you ll have a ball at Chalambar!
