3 Rules & Conditions of Competition 1. Entry fees must be paid at time of entry. 2. The Golf Operations Committee (GOC) has the power to temporarily alter a player s Australian Handicap; A.G.U. Handicap limit 36 Women s handicap limit Players must be prepared to play when called upon to do so by the GOC. 4. Entries are restricted to amateurs who are members of Clubs of Golf Victoria or of Golf Clubs registered with such State or Overseas Association which are affiliated with or recognized by this Association, or of Clubs affiliated with the Victorian Golf League. The Committee shall have the right to refuse the entry of any person without being required to give any reason for such refusal. Competitions shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as adopted by the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews, Scotland, together with such Local Rules as are in force on the Links over which the competition takes place. If a dispute arises on any point, it shall be decided by the GOC in charge of the competition, whose decision shall be final. 5. The GOC may in the event of bad weather, or for any reason, either cancel or shorten any contest, or fix another day. 6. The GOC shall have the power to limit the number of entries which are received for any event and to alter the draws or time fixed for starting any event, as indicated in this programme. 7. Should a tie occur in any Handicap Event, the winner shall be determined on a count back under the system recommended by Golf Victoria. 8. In Events 1,6, 9 & 10 a competitor may not win more than one major trophy per day. 9. Should a tie occur in the Women s Scratch Events a playoff will occur over holes specified and in a format stipulated by the Women s Match Committee. 10. No refund of entry fees where scratching received after closing date, except if entrant is balloted out of an event. 11. The personal details requested from players in this entry form are for the purpose of: (a) registering players into a golf tournament as described on this form (b) listing player s names into a tournament field and publishing that field in the media and (c) recording details on the Club s database for mailing future tournament entry forms. 12. Dress regulations: Neat casual dress must be worn at all times on the course and in the Clubhouse 13. Anglesea Golf Club Inc. is registered under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 and all competitors from Clubs affiliated with Golf Victoria will be made honorary Members of the Club during their stay.
