2 2018 Tournament Schedule The following are the significant member events on the 2018 calendar. Brief details of each event will be on the following pages. Modification to these events, as well as tournament results, will be posted on the golf shop bulletin board and online. 3 Tournament Descriptions The following information will provide a brief description of the major golf events at Fox Hopyard in All sign-ups are in golf shop and will begin approximately one month prior to event. Some events may require you to book a starting time when you sign up to participate. Professional - Member Team Championship Play with the Pro DATE: Ongoing through the season (Each professional will play seven times) ELIGIBILITY: All members. May play more than once but cannot sign up for multiple games before June 1st FORMAT: Two Best Balls of Four Net STARTING TIMES: Sign up and Times posted in Pro Shop SIGN UP: Form your own team of three or sign up individually where there are openings ENTRY FEE: $20 per player, all money goes to year end payout Match Play Championship DATE: Sign up between April 15th and May 15th ELIGIBILITY: All members (Men and Women divisions) FORMAT: Individual Match Play at full handicap (lower handicap player goes to scratch and higher handicap player gets the difference in strokes). Matches must be played according to the schedule which will be posted by May 20th. Any byes will be distributed first to the previous year s champion and then at random thereafter. TEES: men play whites, women play alternate reds unless BOTH participants agree to play from a different set of tees. STARTING TIME: Make your own matches ENTRY FEE: $25 per player

4 Opening Mixed Scramble DATE: Saturday, April 28th ELIGIBILITY: All members FORMAT: ABCD Scramble STARTING TIME: 9:00 Shotgun ENTRY FEE: $35 per player includes cart fee, prizes and luncheon. Multi-Vendor Demo Days DATE: Friday, May 11th and Saturday, May 12th TIME: 3:00pm - 6:00pm (Friday) 10:00am - 3:00pm (Saturday) VENDORS COMMITTED: Ping and Titleist on Friday, May 11th and Callaway and TaylorMade on Saturday, May 12th **All clubs purchased or ordered either day will be discounted 25% OFF of retail (normal member discount is 20%). Shipping on special orders is additional.** Fox Shootout DATES: Saturday, May 26th ELIGIBILITY: All members, must have USGA handicap. Partners event. FORMAT: Three nines, different format each nine first nine scramble, second nine better ball, third nine alternate shot; All prizes net, Men s A and B and Women (must have minimum of 8 teams to form a flight) divisions. STARTING TIME: First nine times start at 7:30 ENTRY FEE: $65 per person includes prizes, carts and lunch between 2 nd and 3 rd nines

5 Friday Night Follies - Baseball Night DATE: Friday, June 1st ELIGIBILITY: All members (may bring up to 3 guests) - should be prepared to pledge your allegiance to the Red Sox or the Yankees for the event. FORMAT: 9 hole baseball themed scramble followed by dinner on our NEW Lawn STARTING TIME: 5:00 shotgun ENTRY FEE: TBD Men s Summer Classic DATES: Friday, June 22nd - Sunday, June 23rd ELIGIBILITY: Member-Guest Teams of 2; Guest must have USGA Handicap FORMAT: Friday - 12:30 Shotgun, 2-Man better ball ($50 separate buy-in for this day); optional participation; make your own foursomes but play from the tees assigned to your flight; Dinner and Raffle to follow Saturday - Breakfast, 9 hole matches starting at 7:30 on each 9; Will play two matches, break for lunch, then play third and final match of the day Sunday Breakfast, 9 hole matches starting at 7:30 on each 9; Will play two matches; The Flight Winners will participate in the Shootout to determine the Overall Champion Lunch to follow the Shootout ENTRY FEE: $650 per team

6 Flag Tournament DATE: Tuesday, July 4th ELIGIBILITY: All members, must have USGA handicap. FORMAT: Each player gets a flag and plants it at the point where their score plus their handicap equals 71. Prizes are based on who takes their flag the furthest. STARTING TIME: Tee Times off #1 starting at 7:00 ENTRY FEE: $10 Married Couples Championship DATE: Sunday, July 15th ELIGIBILITY: All married members (must be family membership) FORMAT: Better ball, 100% handicap STARTING TIME: 12:30 shotgun ENTRY FEE: $100/team includes cart, prizes and dinner. Women s Open Two-Ball DATE: Wednesday, July 18th ELIGIBILITY: Member-Member/Member-Guest/Guest-Guest Teams of 2. FORMAT: Better Ball at 100% of handicap, must have USGA handicap STARTING TIME: 12:30 Shotgun ENTRY FEE: $86 Member-Member/$126 Member-Guest/$166 Guest- Guest; Includes - purse, guest fee and cart Senior Club Championship DATE: Saturday, August 4th and Sunday, August 5th. ELIGIBILITY: All fully vested men and women members over the age of 50, men play white tees and women play alternate red tees, Super Senior Division of player 65 and over (min. 8 players) will play gold. FORMAT: 2-Day Medal Play STARTING TIME: 7:30 first tee time each day ENTRY FEE: $20

7 Friday Night Follies Polynesian Luau Night DATE: Friday, August 17th ELIGIBILITY: All members (may bring up to 3 guests) FORMAT: 9 hole themed scramble followed by Luau in the Pavilion STARTING TIME: 5:00pm shotgun ENTRY FEE: TBD Club Championship DATE: Saturday, August 18th and Sunday, August 19th ELIGIBILITY: All fully vested members. Juniors with no bond certificate are considered fully vested in their second year of membership. FORMAT: 2-Day Medal Play STARTING TIME: 7:30 first tee time each day ENTRY FEE: $20 Member-Member/Member-Guest DATE: Saturday, August 25th ELIGIBILITY: All members and guests must have USGA handicap. FORMAT: Better Ball, 90% handicap; Gross and Net prizes and Men and Women (if minimum of 8 teams enter) divisions. TEES: Men play whites and women play alternate reds STARTING TIME: 8:30 shotgun ENTRY FEE: $100 for a Member-Member Team. $130 for a Member- Guest team. Included are carts, green fees, prizes and lunch. North vs South Fox Cup at Crumpin-Fox DATES: Saturday, September 15th ELIGIBILITY: Members from Fox Hopyard and Crumpin-Fox FORMAT: Individual Match Play. 12 or 16 from CFC vs 12 or 16 from FHY. TEES: Men gross play blues, men net play white and women play reds STARTING TIME: 10:30am Shotgun ENTRY FEE: TBD
