1 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Contact Stephen Koch at for more information ARKANSAS SCHOLARSHIP LOTTERY PLAYERS WIN $2.4 MILLION+ IN JUNE July 5, 2016 LITTLE ROCK Nearly 250 players won a total of $2,436,097 playing the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery in June, according to Arkansas Scholarship Lottery figures. These aren t all the cash prizes claimed during this time period, just those of $500 or more. (See attached for details.) The biggest win was claimed on the last day of the month, a $350,000 top prize on instant game Jumbo Bucks Bonus, won by Michael Blevins of Tuckerman. Other Arkansas Scholarship Lottery instant game prizes rounded out the biggest prizes of the month, with $200,000 prizes claimed by Jayme Munn of Delaware (Win Big), Joey Willis of Trumann (Bonus Bonanza) and Paulette Tatum (Triple 777); and $100,000 prizes claimed by Prinice Lovett of Strong (Neon 50X) and Julia Carlton of Harrison (Super 7 s). Other high-tier instant ticket winners include $50, X The Money winners in White Hall, Carlisle, Summers, Sherwood and El Dorado. In draw games, Lois Jackson of Gurdon won $25,000 playing Mega Millions and Arkansas-only draw game Natural State Jackpot s $190,014 jackpot was claimed by Mubeen Jahangir of Benton. Arkansas Lottery players who won less than $500 are not even included in the month s $2.4 million amount, Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Director Bishop Woosley noted. It s all about scholarships, he added. And it s all thanks to our players and retailers. About the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Since Lottery sales started in Arkansas in 2009, the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery has provided more than $573 million for in-state college scholarships to Arkansas students, while players have won nearly $2 billion in prizes -- and Lottery retailers have earned more than $166 million in commissions. More than 92 cents of every dollar of Lottery revenue goes to prizes, scholarships and retailer commissions in the state. Please follow the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
