AQHA Ranch Riding are qualifiers for 2017 AQHA World and/or 2018 AQHA Select World and the 2018 Level 1 World Show!! Eligibility All Class & competitor eligibility is governed by the SRRA Rulebook and the 2017 AQHA Handbook. Contestants are entirely responsible for knowing their level of eligibility and entering accordingly. RANCH HORSE CLASSES 1. All Class rules are governed by the SRRA Rulebook and the 2017 AQHA Handbook. 2. All divisions are governed by the SRRA Rulebook and the 2017 AQHA Handbook. Contestants are entirely responsible for knowing their level of eligibility and entering accordingly. 2. AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse Divisions Governed by the rules of the 2017 AQHA Handbook, sections SHW a) Open Division b) Cowboy Division - The cowboy division is for working ranch cowboys. The rider of the horse must either be an owner, family member or full time employee of the ranch that owns the horse. Employees must have been employed for a minimum of 90 days prior to competing in the ranch horse competition. The rider must have less than $5,000 per association lifetime earnings in any of the following: NRHA, NCHA, NRCHA, ACHA, RHAA, ASHA or SHOT or less than 25 AQHA or American Paint Horse Association Open points in reining, cutting, ranch cow horse or versatility ranch horse within the previous 10 years. Patterns will be posted in the Show Office and at the Arena. 2. Any patterns provided in this packet are subject to change. Please verify patterns at the show. a. VRH Ranch Riding VRH Ranch Riding Pattern 1 (page 215 of AQHA Rulebook). This pattern will be run around the outside of the VRH Ranch Trail pattern.
