To be eligible an exhibitor must earn at least 10 points in halter and 10 points in performance classes. Showmanship is a performance class. Example #1: If you show in a class of 6 entries to 3 judges, and earned one 1 st, and two 2 nd, you would earn 6 points for showing (2 pts/judge) plus 16 points for your placings for a total of 22 points. Example #2: If you showed to all 6 judges, but did not place, you would earn 2 pts per judge for a total of 12 points. Level 1 (Novice) Youth, Level 1 (Level 1 Amateur) and Select Amateur must earn their halter points in their respective halter division. Example: Rookie Youth or Level 1 (Novice) Youth show in Youth Halter, Rookie Amateur or Level 1 (Novice) Amateur show in Amateur Halter. Walk/Trot Small Fry Classes do not count towards the Exhibitor Incentive Fund.
