TBA STATEMENT: TBA classes may be an all breed class approved by show management or any class on the AHA class list or that is recognized by AHA with the exception of dressage or western dressage, or any class that requires a cow. Please contact the show secretary to get approval for any TBA requests. To add a TBA class please fill out the TBA Request Form and return to the show secretary.

3 HIGH POINT SERIES High Point Series prizes will be awarded 1 st -5 th in the following divisions: Amateur, Youth, Trainer, Purebred Arabian, Half-Arabian, and Non-Arabian. You must show in two out of the three 2018 horse shows to be eligible for an award. The entry fee for the high point program is $5.00 per division. PERFORMANCE HALTER All horses must have been entered and shown in a performance class (Under Saddle and/or Driving) at the same show as the one in which the performance halter class is being held. No whips or other attention getting devices are allowed. Horses may be shown in a traditional style Arabian show halter, a Western style show halter, or a leather stable halter. Horses may be shown in bridles appropriate to their performance divisions. Horses may be shown braided if braiding is appropriate for their performance division(s). Braiding is not required. Exhibitors may wear any clothing appropriate to the show ring that they feel best represents their horse, and allows them to show their horse to his/her best advantage. WALK / TROT Walk/Trot classes include entries in all disciplines (English, Western, Saddle Seat, etc.). Riders in walk/trot classes may enter 3 gaited classes except for riders in the 10 & under walk/trot classes. RANCH HORSE RIDING Each horse will work individually performing a pattern that will include both required and optional maneuvers. Required maneuvers will include the walk, trot, and lope both directions; and the extended trot and extended lope at least one direction; as well as stops, and back. Three optional maneuvers may include a side pass, turns of 360 degrees or more, change of lead (simple or flying), walk, jog, or lope over a pole(s); or some combination of maneuvers that would be reasonable for a ranch horse to perform. The horses are to be presented in a more forwardmoving style than the typical Western Pleasure Horse. Posting at the extended jog is acceptable. Touching or holding the saddle horn is acceptable. EQUESTRIANS WITH DISABILITIES CLASS In the Equestrians with Disabilities class riders will compete at the walk and at their favorite GAIT going both directions. They will also each have an opportunity to show off their individual horsemanship skills. A leader and 2 side walkers may accompany the rider. RIDE FOR CHARITY All proceeds from the Ride for Charity classes will go to support the programs at Green Acres Interactive Therapy (GAIT) a nonprofit organization. More information about GAIT at ARABIAN HORSE ASSOCIATION (AHA) MEMBERSHIP Designated Arabian classes are for Arabian, Anglo-Arabian, and Half Arabian horses. Entries must include a copy of the horses registration papers and current AHA competition cards for all riders, owners, handlers, and trainers listed on the entry form. If there is no current competition card, you may join AHA or renew your membership, or fill out a Single Event Membership form and pay a non-member fee of $35.00 per person. Class results and any qualifying points will be recorded with AHA. AHA Membership Statement: Each competitor (this includes at least one recorded owner and all trainers, drivers, riders, halter handlers, coaches and the person(s) signing the entry blank) in an Arabian Horse Association recognized Arabian division, at the time of entry into a competition, must submit a copy of a valid AHA membership/competition card, join AHA or pay an AHA single event membership fee per competitor. When an agent signs for the owner at an AHA recognized competition, both the owner and agent must be members of AHA or pay the AHA single event membership. Single event membership is not acceptable at AHA Regional or National competitions. Exhibitors in Walk-Trot 10 & Under classes are exempt from AHA membership requirements at qualifying competitions but must have an AHA membership with competition card at AHA Regional and National competitions. Exhibitors in lead line classes or parents/guardians signing for minors are exempt from AHA membership requirements.
