Class Descriptions Note:An asterik * indicates class specifications are in the VHSA rule book and the class may be pointed with VHSA. A diamond shape indicates the class is not pointed with VHSA and class descriptions are as follows: Western Ranch Pleasure: The ideal western ranch pleasure entry should be presented in a more forward-moving style than the typical western pleasure show horse, being able to cover long distances, softly and quietly like that of a working ranch horse at all gaits. Entries to be shown both ways of the ring at a walk, jog and lope. Extensions of any gait and/or additional testing at the judges request. If extensions are requested, exhibitors may rise in the saddle but are not allowed to post. To be shown in good working tack with appropriate western attire.
