PROMOTIONAL GROUP STATE CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW Sunday 9 th December, 2018 Commencing 8.30a.m with Harness Led classes will not commence before 9.30a.m. Venue Oakbank Area School Entries to be received by 5p.m. 23 rd November, 2018 NO LATE ENTRIES - any entries received after 5p.m. on the 23 rd November, 2018 will not be accepted, regardless of postmark date. 2 All competitors must abide by the Miniature Horse Association of Australia Inc. Rules CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: 1. All exhibits will be measured on the day, measuring is from 7.30am 8am. 2. Owners & handlers must be current financial members of MHAA. 3. All horses must have a current MHAA Registration. There is no 6 month leeway for show horses, upgrades must be updated. 4. A copy of Registration Papers and Membership Card must be carried with you on the day of the show and copies of registrations to be sent in with entries. 5. Height for age is taken from birth date & exhibit age is taken from 1 st August. 6. All exhibits must be presented in accordance with the MHAA show rules. 7. Broodmares to be in foal with 2018 season foal or have foal at foot from the current season. 8. The Committee reserves the right to alter classes depending on the number of entries in each class. 9. Refunds of Entry Fees will only be given IF the show is cancelled by the SA Promotional Group Committee. 10. DRUG TESTING: The show Convenor reserves the right to randomly drug test Horses at any time throughout the show. Any horses found to have a positive result will be banned from the remainder of the show and show season and penalties will be invoked on the owner and/or exhibitor and/or handler of the horse. Further, if there is a positive result, the owner/exhibitor MUST pay all the costs of testing and associated expenses. In signing the entry form for the show it is acknowledged that drug testing could take place at any time throughout the show. 11. Competitors are responsible for cleaning up ALL horse manure and rubbish from around their floats and cars. 12. Hot Weather Policy:- If the temperature is going to be 38º C or higher in Mt. Barker as per the 6pm Channel 9 weather report on Friday night prior to the show then the show will be cancelled. If the show is cancelled due to weather all monies will be returned minus a $10.00 admin fee. 13. NO SMOKING ANYWHERE ON GROUNDS. 14. NO DOGS ALLOWED ON GROUNDS

Classic Trot small horse, any age High Point Miniature Horse & High Point Small Horse of the Show Points are taken from all halter classes with the exception of the pair classes and Supremes. Points will be:- 3 for 1 st, 2 for 2 nd, 1 for 3 rd (regardless of numbers in the class), 2 for Champion & 1 for Reserve Champion. After the completion of the show points for each horse will be tallied and the highest scoring Miniature and Small Horse will receive an award.
