3 RULES 1. The Judges decision is final 2. Any objection must be lodged within 10 minutes of class closing together with a 20 fee which will be returned if the objection is upheld. Where an objection is lodged towards the height of a horse or pony, if a valid height certificate cannot not be produced on the day then the objection will stand and the animal will be disqualified from the class and the prize (if awarded one) will be taken off them and handed to the next eligible competitor. Where the objection relates to an age of a competitor, a valid form of ID will be required to prove their age. If this cannot be produced on the day then the objection will stand and the rider will be disqualified from the class and the prize (if awarded one) will be taken off them and handed to the next eligible competitor. 2b. All ages for both horse & rider are taken from the 1st of January in the current year. All riders/handlers must have attained their 3rd birthday in the 1st of January in the current year. All ridden horse/ponies must be atleast 4yrs old to compete in a ridden class. 3. The Organisation reserve the right to alter, amalgamate or cancel classes if sufficient entries. 4. Hard Hats to current BSI standards with a chin strap to be worn in all ridden classes, and inhand classes by handlers 16 years and under unless a Non-Standard Hat Disclaimer is signed. Non-Standard Hat Disclaimer cards must be carried by competitors at all times and produced to the ring steward upon entering the ring. Top Hats may be worn in Championships & Supreme Championship. 5. Whips are not to exceed No refund of entries will be allowed. 7. The Organisation or Landowners of this show will not be held responsible in any way for any loss, damage or injury in any way. 8. No Mucking out of horseboxes on the showground. 9. The Organisers reserve the right to ask any one demonstrating cruelty or anti-social behaviour to leave the showground and will be banned from any future events. 10. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel, split or amalgamate classes where there are insufficient or too many entries. 11. All classes are open to registered and unregistered horses and ponies. Only Registered / eligible horses and ponies may pick up the qualification. Any competitor eligible for the Equifest Qualification must wear a Red Armband (to be provided by the competitor). 12. IN ORDER TO KEEP THE RING RUNNING SMOOTHLY, ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE IN THE COLLECTING RING WHILST THE CLASS BEFORE THEIRS IS ON AND MUST REMAIN IN THE COLLECTING RING. IF YOU ARE NOT PRESENT WHEN YOUR CLASS IS DUE TO START THEN YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED INTO THE RING ONCE THE CLASS HAS STARTED. IT IS UP TO THE COMPETITOR TO ENSURE THEY DO NOT MISS THEIR CLASS. 13. By entering any class you agree to abide by the Rules above. PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL CLASSES WILL BE HELD INDOORS AND WILL START WITH THE IN-HAND IN THE MORNING FOLLOWED BY THE RIDDEN IN THE AFTERNOON. PLEASE SEE RULE 12 REGARDING BEING IN THE COLLECTING RING READY FOR YOUR CLASS. Main Indoor 9.00am start prompt 1. Yearling Colt, Filly or Gelding 2. Youngstock 2 & 3yr olds Colt, Filly or Gelding

4 Youngstock Championship 1st & 2nd from Classes 1 & 2 to compete 3. In-Hand Coloured - Open to Piebald/Skewbald, Palomino, Dun, Roan, Cream or Spotted. Native/Non-Native. Stallion, Mare or Gelding, any age. The two highest placed Piebald/Skewbald exhibitors will qualify for the below. IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE BSPA / EQUIFSET IN HAND PIEBALD / SKEWBALD 4. In-Hand Veteran 15yrs old or over 5. In-Hand Mare Any age, breed, type 6. In-Hand Mountain & Moorland (mixed will split of entries warrant) The two highest placed eligible exhibitors will qualify. IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE EQUIFEST QUALIFICATION YOU MUST WEAR A RED ARMBAND EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND IN HAND 7. In-Hand Hunter Horse/Pony 8. In-Hand Pure/Part Bred Not inc M&M s or Pure Welsh. Part Bred Welsh is permitted. 9. In-Hand Gelding or Stallion Any age, breed, type 10. In-Hand Most Promising New Combination - Combination must be in their first show season together. 11. In-Hand Showing (Any height) Any, breed or type The 2 highest placed riding pony exhibits in this class will qualify for the below. IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE FOR THE EQUIFEST QUALIFICATION YOU MUST WEAR A RED ARMBAND EQUIFEST IN HAND RIDING PONIES General In-hand Championship 1st & 2nd from Classes 3-11 to compete Equestrian Life Magazine In-Hand Supreme Champion of Show All InHand Champions & Reserve Champions to compete Main Indoor Not before 1pm - PLEASE SEE RULE 12 REGARDING BEING IN THE COLLECTING RING READY FOR YOUR CLASS. 12. Pre-Novice (Walk & Trot Only) 4yr old & over, Snaffle Bridle Only,No Cantering is required in this class either on the go-round or individual show. THIS CLASS IS AIMED AT THE NEWLY BACKED HORSE/PONY THAT IS NOT QUITE READY FOR THE NOVICE CLASS, HOWEVER COMPETITORS ENTERING THIS CLASS MAY ALSO ENTER THE NOVICE CLASS IF THEY WISH BUT NOT ANY OTHER RIDDEN CLASS AT THE SAME SHOW. 13. Novice Horse/Pony - 4yrs old & over, Any suitable bridle. Class will be spilt into horses & ponies if entries warrant. Novice Championship 1st & 2nd from Classes 12 & 13 to compete 14. Lead Rein Pony The class is open to any lead rein combination with rider 9yrs old & under and ponies not exceeding 122cm, but only the two highest placed eligible exhibits in each of the sections below will qualify. First Ridden Pony Open to any first ridden pony but the two highest placed exhibitors in each of the sections below will qualify. Ridden Showing (Any height) Please note that this class is open to any horse and pony of any breed/type but only show ponies, hacks & riding horses will qualify for Equifest. The two highest placed show ponies, hacks & riding horses in each section below will qualify. Ridden Pure / Part Bred Please note that this class is open to any Pure & Part Bred horse and pony EXCLUDING the following - Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh A and B, Connemara, Dales, Fell, New Forest, Highland, Welsh C and D. PART BRED WELSH ARE ELIGIBLE. The two highest placed Part Bred exhibits in each of the sections below will qualify. The highest placed Piebald/Skewbald exhibitor will qualify for the below.
