4 The Thurso & Dingwall NFU Mutual offices are delighted to once again sponsor the Christmas Show & Sale at the Caithness Livestock Centre, a key event in the agricultural calendar that does so much to showcase the outstanding quality of livestock the North of Scotland has to offer. It doesn t seem that long ago since last years event when all of a sudden here it is come round again. Whilst this year s good weather has no doubt brought benefits to some, 2018 has had its own trials for our farmers here in the Far north. Livestock prices, Straw Shortages and price hikes, and new worries regarding recycling, not to mention the ongoing uncertainty about Brexit and what that means for farmers, crofters and our rural economy. We, at your local offices in Thurso and Dingwall strive to bring you the best possible service with knowledge that allows us to understand your business and personal needs. However, Purchasers should be aware that an accurate Vendor declaration cannot absolutely guarantee that any animal or progeny from any animal is free from BVD or is not a persistently infected ( PI ) animal. Auctioneers cannot accept any responsibility for the accuracy or reliability of any Vendor declarations and no warranties or guarantees whatsoever are given by the Auctioneers.
