Please read carefully The Directors and Committee shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage to any person, animal or property whatsoever, and all those attending the show in whatever capacity to acknowledge this. You are strongly advised to take out Third Party insurance on your horse/pony before competing at the show. No refunds or cancellation of entry fees permitted, unless there is a cancellation of the show, where 5 will be deducted. This show is run with due regard to Health and Safety. The person responsible on the day will be the designated H&S Officer. Any person attending this show MUST comply with any official request pertaining to safety, INCLUDING WITH REGARDS TO PARKING. Correctly secured British Riding Hats PAS015, EN1384 (USA) ASTMFI1163 that meet current Safety Standard MUST be worn by riders at all times when mounted. As per BSPS Rule 46 (see BSPS Rule & Show Handbook). GDPR Details of entries will only be retained for a period deemed necessary. They will then be destroyed. Further information can be obtained from BSPS Head Office. The Judge s decision is Final ALL CLASSES WILL BE PRIMARILY RUN UNDER THE RULES OF THE B.S.P.S. QUALIFICATION / SPECIFIC RULES BSPS This show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (B.S.P.S.) and all persons competing, showing or otherwise taking part in the B.S.P.S. Classes, whether or not members of the B.S.P.S., are subject to the Constitution and Rules of the B.S.P.S., including any disciplinary procedures and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S. All rules as per the 2018 B.S.P.S. Rule & Show Handbook except for any new or amended rules as included in this schedule. Heritage classes 8 17 & will be judged under B.S.P.S. Heritage rules. Riders in classes & may be any age except with regard to stallions. Riders must be 12 years old or over on 1 st January in the current year to ride stallions not exceeding 138cms or small breed stallions, i.e. Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh Section A and Section B. Riders must be 14 years and over on the 1 st January in the current year to ride stallions exceeding 138cms or large breed stallions, i.e. Welsh Section C & D, Dales, Fells, Highlands, New Forest and Connemara. The 1 st 4 th prize winners from each of the Open classes (1 17 & 33-35) will qualify for the Premier League classes to be held at the 2019 B.S.P.S. Summer Championships. Classes & are also qualifiers for the BSPS Classic Security UK Ltd challenge, BSPS Premier League, BSPS Black Country Saddles and BSPS WOW Factor for 2018 PLEASE TAKE ALL YOUR LITTER HOME WITH YOU!

3 RING 1: Indoor Arena Commencing: 8.30am Judge: Mr P Cook Classes 1 11 are open to everyone no BSPS membership required Ring 1 will have music playing quietly in the background, picket fencing, flowers and banners / drapes to try and add some atmosphere. CLASS 1 BSPS OPEN INTERMEDIATE SHOW RIDING TYPE - Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 146cm but not exceeding 158cms. Riders must not have attained their 25th birthday before 1st January in the current year. CLASS 2 BSPS OPEN INTERMEDIATE SHOW HUNTER TYPE - Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cm but not exceeding 158cms. Riders must not have attained their 25th birthday before 1st January in the current year. *** THE BSPS INTERMEDIATE CHAMPIONSHIP*** 1st & 2nd Prize Winners from classes 1 & 2 to compete, the winner will qualify for the 2019 Champion of Champions CLASS 3 BSPS SHOW HUNTER PONY LEAD REIN - Mare or gelding 4 years old or over not exceeding 122cms. Riders must not have attained their 9th birthday before 1st January in the current year. CLASS 4 BSPS OPEN MIXED HEIGHT SHOW HUNTER PONY - Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 153cms. Riders must be the correct age for the height of the animal they are riding. The winner will qualify for the 2019 Champion of Champions. CLASS 5 BSPS SHOW PONY LEAD REIN Mare or gelding 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cms Riders must not have attained their 8th birthday before 1st January in the current year. CLASS 6 BSPS SHOW PONY FIRST RIDDEN Mare or gelding 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cms. Riders must not have attained their 10th birthday before 1st January in the current year. *** THE BSPS MINI SHOW PONY CHAMPIONSHIP*** 1st & 2nd Prize Winners from classes 5-6 to compete, the winner will qualify for the 2019 Champion of Champions. Class 7 will not start before 10.30am CLASS 7 BSPS MIXED HEIGHT OPEN SHOW PONY Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 148cms. Riders must be the correct age for the height of the pony they ride. The winner will qualify for the 2019 Champion of Champions. CLASS 8 BSPS HERITAGE YOUNG RIDER M&M SMALL BREEDS - Open to registered Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh Section A, Welsh Section B mares and geldings 4yrs and over. Riders must not have attained their 18th birthday before the 1st January in the current year. CLASS 9 BSPS HERITAGE YOUNG RIDER M&M LARGE BREEDS - Open to registered Dales, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Connemara and Welsh Section C mares and geldings 4yrs and over. Riders must not have attained their 18th birthday before 1st January in the current year. CLASS 10 BSPS HERITAGE M&M OPEN LEADING REIN Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 122cms. Riders must not have attained their 9 th birthday before 1 st January in current year. CLASS 11 BSPS HERITAGE M&M OPEN FIRST RIDDEN Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders must not have attained their 12 th birthday before 1 st January in current year. Any suitable bridle permitted. *** THE BSPS MINI M&M CHAMPIONSHIP*** 1st & 2nd Prize Winners from classes to compete Approximately 1pm Conformation Masterclass Come & watch to see how to get maximum marks for conformation. Mr P Cook has judged & competed at RIHS & HOYS; he has kindly agreed that he will show us how to stand your pony up, the do s & how to show your pony off best. Everyone welcome it s absolutely free! 6 RING 4: Outdoor Arena Commencing: 9.00am UNAFFILIATED DRESSAGE OPEN TO ALL Rosettes to 8 th place CLASS 44 INTRO A (2008) Open to all, lead rein combinations welcome CLASS 45 PRELIM 12 Open to all CLASS 46 PRELIM 7 Open to all. NPS qualifier - Please state qualification section (1-6) and age of rider if applicable on entry form. CLASS 47 NOVICE 24 Open to all. NPS qualifier - Please state qualification section (1-6) and age of rider if applicable on entry form. Please for times call / text after 6pm on Thursday 20 th September NATIONAL PONY SOCIETY SUPREME DRESSAGE FINAL A competition to encourage both performance and education of British bred ponies and their riders. Qualifiers will run from April 2018 and culminate in the NPS Supreme Dressage Championship Final to be held at the prestigious show venue Addington Manor Equestrian Centre, Addington, Buckinghamshire in April Stabling will be available. Each test will consist of six sections all of which will have their own Final. The two highest placed ponies in each section at each qualifying show will qualify for the 2019 Final. Sections are open to:- 1. Registered Mountain & Moorland breeds not exceeding 138cm 2. Registered Mountain & Moorland breeds exceeding 138cm 3. Registered British Riding Ponies 4. Part Bred Horses/Ponies registered with their appropriate Native Breed Part Bred Stud Book including Part Bred Arab ponies overstamped in the British Riding Pony Stud Book and ponies registered with the Sports Pony Stud Book. 5. Highest placed rider aged under 12 years on 1 st January Highest placed Junior rider under 18 years on 1 st January 2018 * Part Bred Native ponies and Sports Ponies over-stamped within the British Riding Pony Stud Book may only compete in one section per season. Qualifying rounds will be open to everyone from across the UK. All qualifiers will receive Sponsors cards. Horse/ponies must be ridden at the Final by the qualifying rider. Those qualifying for the Final must be fully paid up Dressage or Showing members of the NPS for 2019 in order to compete at the 2019 NPS Dressage Final. The Champion winners of each section Final for each Test will be required to perform a 4.5 minute freestyle to Music for the judging of the Overall NPS Supreme Dressage titles.
