Gate entry fees: Adults - $15 Child (under 16) - $6 Children under school age - Free Aged Pensioners(with card) - $9 Family Pass - $35 Car entry - $3 No pass outs after 7pm Parking is available on the lower arena General Rules & Regulations How to enter: No numbers are required for Friday classes. We are using a number allocation for horse entries on Saturday and Sunday to assist recording of performances which are submitted to the RAS. You must complete a horse and owner form at the entry box prior to competition. These are the details that are used for recording class results and no responsibility is taken for incorrect horse names if the details are not recorded correctly and clearly. Each individual horse will be allocated a number which must be used for all HORSE SCHEDULE 22 horse classes on Saturday and Sunday. This number must be shown to the ring steward for placings to be recorded. Entry Box will open 2 hours before commencement of program on each day. Entry fees are: $4.00 per class $5.00 per event - Open Sporting $2.00 per event Pony Club & Sporting Events Showjumping as per schedule for each event Camping & Stables are available bookings to be made online at Competitors must sign a waiver (page 10 of Schedule) form & wear the given wrist band. Persons not competing or persons that are not wearing a waiver band are not permitted to enter the judging ring. Horses will be permitted to exercise in the main arena each morning between 6.30am & 8.00am. All competitors competing and/or exercising horses must wear an Australian Approved Standard helmet at all times. Riders & Handlers must be suitably attired. A rider or contestant not suitably attired may be precluded by the stewards from competing in an event. The Society maintains the right to drug test horse entries under the disciplinary rules of the ASC. Stallions at all times must be under control by their handlers/riders. Any

2 horse or rider that disrupts the judging of a class will be asked to retire. Stallions will not be permitted in any class unless stipulated. The Chief Steward may alter, delete, vary or abandon any part of the ring program as deemed fit, if it is in the interest of the competitors, or the Society. All protests must be lodged before, during, or within 30 minutes of the said infringement in writing, accompanied by a deposit of $50.00 at the horse entry box, which shall be forfeited if the protest is deemed frivolous. Protests may be made by the owner, exhibitor or their agent. All protests will be heard by the protests committee and their decision is final & binding. Horses will be measured on protest being lodged unless they are in possession of a current measuring card issued by the EFA or Hack Council. The Society will help the care and comfort of all animals on its ground but WILL NOT be responsible for any injuries incurred whilst on its ground. An Honorary Veterinarian will be on call. * Members Classes for financial members of the Moss Vale & District AH & I Society inc. Novice shall mean any competitor or horse which has not won at any recognised Show. Intermediate shall mean any horse or rider who has not won a 1st, 2nd or 3rd prize in a solo event at any Royal Show Outside assistance to competitors by word, by radio or any other method in 23 Horse Ring Events will NOT be permitted. Expected Behaviour Any person, including an exhibitor or competitor who, inside or outside the show ring in the opinion of the Committee, behaves in an offensive, threatening or insulting manner to any official of the Society, or Judge at the Show or in regard to the Society, shall be liable to disqualification. Upon any person being reported to the Committee as having committed an offence under the rule, the Committee shall hold an inquiry, of which due notice shall be given to such person - who shall have the right to be heard and call evidence at such inquiry - and the Committee shall either exonerate such a person or impose such penalty as it deems expedient and the report of such inquiry shall be forwarded to the Secretary of the South Coast & Tablelands of Show Societies. ** Drug Testing may be carried out at this Show.
