1 DRESSAGE NZ INCENTIVE AWARDS & BACK on TRACK TRAINING SCHOLARSHIP CHOLARSHIPS Incentive Programme Bronze Award: Ride test 2.6 or 3.6 & gain 63% with at least one List 1, 2A or List 2 Judge Silver Award: Ride test 4.6 or 5.6 & gain 63% with at least one List 1 2A or List 2 Judge Gold Award: Ride test FEI YR Team or Individual Test, Prix St Georges, Int I, or Test 6.4 and gain 63% with at least one List 1, 2A or List 2 Judge Platinum Award Honorary Award Ride test FEI Grand Prix and gain 63% with at least one List I Judge (no questions) At each level (except Platinum): Answer five (5) written questions. 6 BACK ON TRACK & DRESSAGE NZ TRAINING SCHOLARSHIPS APPLICATIONS CLOSE 15 APRIL 2010 ** Applicants PLEASE NOTE Clarification of Eligibility in para 1 BACK ON TRACK is proud to sponsor the 2010 Dressage NZ Scholarships. Four riders can win $ scholarships to further their dressage training. The winners also receive a BACK ON TRACK presentation rug and rosette. The winners will be announced at the Dressage NZ Awards dinner in Whangarei 26 th June Brad McDonald attends numerous events with his trade stand of fantastic ceramic fabric products for both humans, horses and dogs. Check out his website to read about this fascinating line of products for both human and animal well being. Dressage NZ appreciates BACK ON TRACK s support of this training programme. When you see Brad and his BACK ON TRACK STAND at a show, stop in and ask him about his GREAT RANGE of products. Back on Track in association with Dressage NZ will sponsor 4 Training Scholarships each of $500, at the discretion of the DNZ selectors & board. The Scholarships of $500 each will be for Training with a DNZ or NZEF Listed coach. If the successful applicant does not intend to use the scholarship with a listed coach, a brief CV of the intended coach must also be included with the application and approval must be given by Dressage NZ. Successful applicants will also receive a Back on Track presentation rug which will be awarded at the 2010 Dressage NZ Conference The focus is on rewarding riders who have trained their horse themselves from Level 1 or 2 onwards. The combination can be at any grade at time of application. Successful applicants must use the scholarship by 31 December 2010 and provide a written report to Dressage NZ Applications must be received by: The Dressage NZ Sport Manager, RD 13, Hawera by 15 April Applicants must have never er been in a DNZ Squad or Training Group except that applications will be accepted from senior riders who were on a Young Rider Training Group or Squad prior to At time of purchase the horse has not been graded higher than Level 2 3. Applicants must forward a CV including their performance record with the horse, and their goals and all contact details ie address, , phone/fax 4. The Applicant will supply a written reference from their coach who should be on either the ESNZ or Dressage NZ Coaches/Trainers List 5. The Applicant has to supply 5 test sheets, which show a minimum of 60% each, achieved at Regional or National Shows during the period 1 Aug March Applicants have to provide written answers to Questions from the Rider Incentive Programme at the appropriate level with the application. 6
