2 Welcome to members & visitors, we hope you have an enjoyable and successful day. Rules & Regulations 1. This Show will be run according to Cessnock Ag Society & Show Horse Council of Australasia Competition Rules. 2. Entry in this Show is voluntary, by entry; all Exhibitors & Competitors agree to be bound by the Show Horse Council of Australasia Competition Rules and the Rules & Regulation as set herein. 3. The Cessnock Ag Society & H.R.S.H.A Show Committee reserve the right to interpret all questions or incidents regarding or arising from this Show without recourse. Their decision will be final. 4. The Cessnock Ag Society & H.R.S.H.A, Committee & Officials will not be held responsible for any accident or damage caused by or to any Exhibitor or Exhibit. All Competitors compete entirely at their own risk. All spectators attend the Show entirely at their own risk. 5. The Committee reserves the right to refuse any entrant; without assigning a reason, no claim shall be made against the Association should entry be refused. 6. Any Competitor not suitably attired may be precluded from competition. It is the responsibility of all Riders of horses on the grounds during the Show to wear approved Safety Helmets & suitable Riding Boots. 7. NOVICE is any Horse or Rider that has not won a First Place in any individual event at any Agricultural Show or Show Horse Council approved or recognized Show. 8. INTERMEDIATE is any Horse or Rider that has not been placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in any individual event at any Royal Show or Exhibition. 9. NEWCOMER is any horse that has not been shown prior to the 1st of January AMATEUR OWNER as per Show Horse Council of Australasia Rules and Regulations. 11. All Horses entered in Breed events must be registered with the relevant Breed Society. 12. Current Measuring Certificates will be accepted & are to be produced on request. Any Horse not having a current recognized Certificate may be required to be measured. 13. A horse can compete in either a Lady s or a Gent s or a class ridden by a Rider under 17yrs once only, entry in any one of these events renders the exhibit ineligible for the other. 14. The Cessnock Ag Society & H.R.S.H.A. Show Committee may change any Judge without notice. 15. A Judge' s decision shall be final. 16. Protests must be delivered in writing to the Secretary, no later than one hour, after the class in question. A $20 Fee must accompany the protest & will be forfeited, if the protest is not upheld. 17. Rings will not be held up for class clashes without the approval of the Ringmaster, advice of any clashes must be made to Ring Officials prior to the commencement of the conflicting classes. 18. Entry fees will not be refunded. 19. Stallions are not permitted to compete in Open Hack Rings. 20. Horses that compete in the Show Hunter Ring are ineligible to compete in the Open Hack Ring, 21. All accidents, injury or damage of any kind must be reported by those concerned to a Show Official on the day of the Show and any such incident shall be duly recorded. 22. Cessnock Ag Society & H.R.S.H.A Inc. Committee, Members and Show Officials do not take any responsibility whatsoever in respect to any non reported matter/s of accident, injury or damage occurring at the Show. 23. If you are competing in the OPEN RINGS you are not eligible compete in the Funkharna Ring 24. Classes maybe split if numbers warrant at the discretion of the committee. 2
