2 STATE FAIR AWARDS & ENTRY FEES Premiums totaling $4, will be awarded. Championship Plaques & Ribbons 1 st through 6 th place will be awarded. Class Payback All Payback monies listed will be divided per judge Junior, Senior, Grand Champion $30.00 Junior, Senior, Grand Reserve Champion $ st Place $ nd Place $ rd Place $5.00 Stalls will be available after 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 28 Complete the stabling list for all owners and exhibitors who wish their animals to be stalled together. All exhibitors must work out of stalls, rather than out of trailers, due to the lack of available parking around the arena. PARKING *Parking inside the fairgrounds requires a permit to enter. This permit must be requested on the entry form or may be purchased at the Equine Check-In Trailer and is for the sole use of the exhibitor. All vehicles must have an exhibitor parking permit affixed to the driver s side on the front windshield. Parking permits are $15.00 for exhibitors and are good for the entire run of the fair. All trucks and trailers will be required to park in designated areas. Fair Management assumes no obligation or liability for any theft or damage that may occur to the vehicle or its contents. ENTRIES *For 2017, the Nebraska State Fair will be accepting online entries for the Pinto Horse Show. Go to the state fair website, Click on the Get Involved tab, Horses, Premium Book/Entry Forms. We are encouraging the use of the online entry system as this is the most accurate form of entry. Entries may be made online or mailed to the address provided on the entry form. Late entries will be accepted until the barn is full. A late fee of $50.00 per exhibitor will apply for all entries postmarked after July 31, 2017.

3 DIVISION FEES Open & Amateur Class Entry Fee $15.00/class Youth Class Entry Fee $10.00/class Flat Entry Fee $75.00/horse Office Fee: $12.00 per horse PtHA Fee: $1.00 per class Stalls & Tack Rooms: $35.00 Exhibitor Tickets: $5.00 each Exhibitor Badge (11-day): $25.00 Parking Pass: $15.00 Late Fee: $50.00 per exhibitor, for all entries postmarked after July 31, 2017 HEALTH REQUIREMENTS *All horses being exhibited at the 2017 Nebraska State Fair must meet all of the equine health requirements, which are found at the following link: 2017 Equine and Equine Livestock Health Requirements. REQUIRED CREDENTIALS Required documentation for the Pinto Horse Show includes: *A copy (front and back) of each horse s Registration Papers, OR Conditional Registration Certificate; a Pinto Master Entry Form; a current Permanent or Annual Measurement Card if applicable; a copy of 2017 Membership cards. If you have questions concerning required breed or exhibitor documentation, please contact Heather Franklin, Pinto Horse Superintendent directly at All owner(s) of a Pinto must be current member(s) of PtHA, as listed on the Pinto s current PtHA Registration Certificate, including, but not limited to: spouses, and partners, or a membership for same must be purchased at the show. Exhibitor(s) must have an individual membership in PtHA in order to show. Health and Coggins Papers as outlined within this premium book. For any questions regarding Health or Coggins papers, please contact Dr. Steve Krull, State Fair Equine Veterinarian at or Les Zadina, Equine Superintendent at Foals of the current year must have registration papers. DOG POLICY Due to requirements of the liability insurance carrier and policy of all major livestock shows, NO dogs are allowed on the Nebraska State Fairgrounds, in parking lots or in buildings other than those for direct competition or service animals. All dogs must be on a leash. There shall be no loose or unattended dogs on the fairgrounds. NO dogs will be permitted in the animal barns, in

4 tie outs or on the Midway, except during authorized events and sanctioned dog shows. Dogs entered in Nebraska State Fair special performances or competitive events will be allowed on grounds or in buildings during performance or competition only. FEED AND BEDDING All feed and bedding needs will be handled by Mid Nebraska Feeds, which is the local Purina dealer. Hay, bedding and/or feed will be available. You can pre-order feed and bedding by contacting them at SHOW RULES 1. By signing an entry form, the exhibitor agrees to abide by the Nebraska State Fair General Livestock Information, Rules and Regulations, the Equine Information, Rules and Regulations and the Pinto Horse Association of America, Inc Rules and Regulations. The exhibitor also agrees to abide by the IAFE National Code of Show Ring Ethics. To obtain a copy of the current PtHA rules, see the website: 2. The PtHA and Nebraska State Fair will not be responsible for any accident that may occur to, or be caused by any horse exhibited at the show or for any article of any kind of nature that may be lost or destroyed or in any way damaged. 3. All horses, including foal of current year, must have registration papers before showing. 4. PtHA membership cards must be shown at the Horse Show Office when checking in. 5. Junior horses are 2 years and younger. Senior horses are 3 years and older. 6. Youth exhibitors shall be 18 and younger as of January 1 of There must be more than one exhibitor in a class to pay more than one premium placing. 8. The 3-minute gate rule will be enforced.
