Time has sadly come for us to find a new home for Midnight. He has been with us for 4 years and has been a wonderful pony. He would make a fantastic 2nd pony, as he needs someone to give him clear instructions to get the very best from him. Grace started to ride him when she was 10 and he was her 1 st pony, and they have had a fabulous time together. We have never had any issue with lameness - I also ask the farrier each time we see him if he is ok - he has always said he has very sound feet (front shoes only). He is very good with the farrier and we have never had to call the vet out to him. He will stand calmly to be clipped and is seen once a year by an equine dentist, who remarked on his manners. He will hack out alone, as for a time he was the only pony we had. He will go 1 st or last depending on the order we leave the yard. He has been a calming influence on our younger horse. His vice is he will try and get food if you leave it too near him on the side (he is a bit like a very big Labrador in that respect), and he is a past master at removing fly masks. He has been to Pony Club rallies and Multi Activity Days and Junior Easter & Summer Camp where he is happy to wait by the trailer - but sadly this was a while ago as he is no longer being ridden, which is such a shame as he has so much to give. This is not to do with him, just other commitments taking time which is not fair on him. He will come with all his rugs (and we have quite a few!) and tack, and a Kent & Masters saddle that was fitted for him. 3,850 ono. Video s and further details available. Sadly, her rider has outgrown her and she is too good a pony to leave in the field, as she loves being out an about. She is great on the lead rein as a 1st Pony but can be forward going so not for a nervous rider. My son happily rode her on the buckle when he was 6yrs old. Also good for the next step up as she is not a kick along and will happily go up or down a gear to meet the riders ability. Great pony to hack out on own or in company. It is with great sadness that I need to find a new home for our much loved pony of 6 years Sparkly has been a fantastic lead rein pony and has taught both of my girls so much but he now needs a new little jockey to have fun with. Sparkly is a cute, 11.0hh pretty grey Welsh Section A gelding, 18 years young. He has taken part in lots of Pony Club activities rallies, showjumping, cross country, showing, gymkhanas, dressage, Summer Camp and he loves hacking out. Sparkly is a good doer and is very easy to look after. He is a real character and everyone loves him at the yard he ll be hugely missed. Sparkly is unshod and teeth and vaccinations are up to date. He has mild Cushings which is easily controlled by ½ a Prascend tablet every day, hence 750 ovno (price includes his extensive collection of rugs and his tack). 3 Wanted Experienced kind Pony Club rider looking for a share 15.1hh-15.2hh I am looking for a horse between 15.1hh and 15.2hh that my daughter can share locally to Liphook or the surrounding areas. Willing to travel within reason for the right horse. She is 14 and an experienced rider. We currently own a fantastic14.1hh that she has very sadly outgrown so looking for the next level up. She is a kind gentle rider looking for something to hack out, and compete in all disciplines (including PC Camp and Clinics). We have our own transport and are willing to help out with the care of the horse and financially. May suit someone who has a competent horse who doesn't have the time or heading to University this year and wants their horse ticking over. Happy for something forward going, but must have brakes, be safe, no bolters/buckers etc.... nothing green (sorry). Must load well and be well behaved when out. Very honest reliable, and experienced family waiting for the right horse... and I (Mum) will be with her all the time that she rides. Faye Theuma: (07/06/18) For Loan 8 year old, 12.2hh/12.3hh, dapple grey New Forest gelding - super 2nd pony for loan/lwvtb. Honest advert as the right home is a must! After much debate we have sadly decided to look for Banjo s next home. Banjo will make super 2nd pony for someone. He has a huge personality and heart. He came to us last year as a lead rein pony for our landowners 8 year old daughter and a project for me to bring on but despite her loving him to bits, he s just not the first pony she needs. Banjo absolutely loves his jumping and would suit a small, gutsy rider. He only started jumping last year but has since placed 6 th in the 70cm at his first (and only jumping) show, jumped courses of 80-90cm at home and cleared 1.05m!! He can be strong hence a need for a more slightly more experienced young jockey. Will jump from any angle and just about any stride - almost never stops. Would do an awesome jump off with a bit of flatwork to improve his balance as very fast against the clock. He hasn t jumped much lately as at almost 5 8 I m just too tall!! He s cross country schooled proving bold going straight over steps, ditches and through water first time. Would be great on a Sponsored Ride. Been to Pony Club and very well behaved. He loves his hacking too and will go alone or in company, on or off the lead rein. No issues in traffic and not spooky. He loves cuddles in the field and will happily follow you round all day until you give him a good scratch! Been long reined once and was good so potential to be driven. He s barefoot with no medical issues and up to date on Vacs. He can be strong to handle on the ground but has come on enormously and once he trusts you he s fine. He s a bit of a worrier and can take time to load but if your patient with him he will go. He is still green on the flat and can nap when there aren t any jumps or poles to interest him. Would not be suitable for a nervous rider or someone looking to do dressage/showing as this just isn t what he enjoys. 5* home a must for this super pony who will be greatly missed and now just wants to go out and have fun! Both his owners and Mum and I would love to stay in touch and follow this awesome pony s progress. Will come with some tack and all rugs. Saddle potentially available at an extra cost. 4 For Loan 12.0hh mare, 22 years young! Sam has been with us on loan for a year and is now sadly outgrown. She s taught my daughter to rider very honest, sweet pony although she can be mare-ish on the ground so needs an experienced home. She s safe and has brakes and is happy jumping up to about 60cm. She did loads of Pony Club activities last year including Camp. We ve taken her hunting too she s a lot of fun and a real confidence giver. Sam has had laminitis in the past and she has Cushings, which is managed with medication and a careful eye on her sugar intake! Fabulous loan pony. Available to a good home from 16 April.
