Without those often unsung heroes it would not be possible for this event to be run by the club. We would also like to thank those people who are not members of Penicuik Archers but who also support the event through their assistance in setting up the field, helping out in the kitchen, working as members of our field party and the officials. We should not forget to thank Midlothian Council with their continued support in helping Penicuik Archers in preparing the competition field, the loan of equipment and also the attendance of a member of its staff during the weekend. This year Penicuik Archers fund raising activities will be donated to two local charities. Profits from the sale of food and other refreshments during our competitions is one of the ways we use to raise funds for our nominated charities. 3 PENNY CHALLENGE 2018 Final Results 23 & 24 June 2018 For Ladies and Gents, Compound and Recurve archers the overall placing is based on the results from the 70 and 50 Metre Rounds, H2H finishing position and the WA 1440 rounds. The points awarded relate to the archers final position in each round, no adjustments have been made to those positions to take into account the scores of archers who shot rounds in some of these categories but did not complete all three stages of the Penny Challenge. Rather than basing the results on the placing achieved in each round the scores by each archer in the 720 and 1440 rounds have been added together, taking into account that they shot the appropriate 1440 rounds. In addition to qualify for the awards the archers must have participated in the H2H round. The results are based on the highest overall points scored by each archer
