2 RULES & REGULATIONS 1. Ribbons will be to 3rd place (where applicable) and the Judge s decision is final. 2. Foals may only enter Foal classes. Foals are not eligible for Supreme Junior Awards. Supreme Led Foal of Show and Supreme Led Junior of the Show will be judged at the completion of the Rings. Champions/Supremes from each section are eligible as marked in program. 3. Where sponsorship prizes/trophies are applicable, failure to collect these awards on the day of the show may result in those awards being forfeited. 4. Age of all foals to be calculated as from 1st August All protests must be lodged in writing with the show secretary at the office within 30 minutes of the event and accompanied by $50.00 cash. 6. The NSW Arabian Horse Association Inc. accepts no responsibility for any accident, injury or damage to any spectators, competitors, goods, property, pedestrians or vehicles. You are fully responsible for your horse and it s actions. 7. No colts may be handled, ridden or driven by any person under the age of 18 years. 8. The show committee shall have the power without assigning any reason to issue a warning and/or excuse a competitor from the ring due to excessive use of whips, spurs, bits or due to any horse not being under proper control. 9. Any competitor whose conduct is considered to be ill mannered, aggressive or unsportsmanlike will be issued a warning and may be asked to leave the ring. 10. Condition of entry is that a Registered Participant Application form is completed and a $11.00 levy (or participation fee) is paid prior to purchasing tickets if you are NOT a current financial member of the NSW Arabian Horse Association Inc, the Arabian Horse Society of Australia or a recognised affiliate of the Arabian Horse Society of Australia. An AHSA Liability Declaration Form must be completed by current financial members of the NSW Arabian Horse Association Inc, the Arabian Horse Society of Australia or a recognised affiliate of the Arabian Horse Society of Australia prior to purchasing tickets however no insurance levy is payable. Wristbands must be worn by ALL persons to enter any ring. 11. This show will be conducted under the rules and regulations of the current Arabian Horse Society of Australia Limited Rule Book, a copy of which is available at the show office. 12. All foals must be weaned. No mares will be allowed into the ring. 13. All foals must be eligible to be registered with, have registration pending, or be registered with the respective Breed/Colour Society in whose classes they intend to show. 14. All 1,2&3 Year Olds must be registered with the relevant society. 15. Exhibits in classes for geldings must have been gelded. Exhibits registered as geldings are not eligible to compete in colt classes. 16. CLIPPING, TRIMMING & PRESENTATION: Foals and all Youngstock must be exhibited as per their Breed Society regulations and Standard of Excellence. e.g. Welsh and Riding Pony Foals which exhibit an obvious body clip will not be judged. All RPSB entries must be plaited. Miniature Ponies must NOT be clipped. 17. The judge s decision is final - no person shall directly approach a judge with regard to a decision. Once a class has been judged, it cannot be re-judged. 18. As of 2014, the AHSA has directed that all professional handlers/riders must hold relative professional insurance,( proof is required when purchasing tickets ) if not a current member of AHSA. If proof is not shown, then a daylevy of $33 is required, along with the completion of the relevant paperwork. 19. As of 2014, ALL exhibitors in Arabian and Arabian Derivative classes must be financial members of the Arabian Horse Society of Australia. Membership number/card is required when purchasing entry tickets.
