Guided tour through Addo Elephant Park looking mainly for elephants, buffalo and other antelope. 13h00 Lunch The game drive through Addo Park is done in a closed vehicle as it is a government reserve and we are not permitted to do Open Land Rover Game Drives in the park. Your Game drive on Schotia is done in an Open Vehicle. Second Half 14h45 Check in at Schotia HQ Office to sign indemnity and receive Schotia Itinerary for the afternoon. Tea/ coffee / juice and biscuits available on arrival. 15h00 Commence with guided game drive. Your ranger will look for Giraffe, Rhino, Zebra, Ostrich and numerous antelope that abound on Schotia. 16h30 There will be a short refreshments and toilet stop. 16h45 The most exciting part begins. i.e. looking for Lions!! Rangers also look for Hippo and nocturnal animals and we now also have Elephants! 19h00 you will return to our Lapa to warm up around the fire. 5 Addo Horse Trails: Type of Ride: (2hr Duration) (Payable at the Park s Game Drive Offices) All guests entering the Park should pay the conservation fee at the Main Gate (SA Citizens with R68 p. adult & R34 p. child) & (International Guests with Passports R272 p. adult & R136 p. child). Morning and afternoon rides are two hours long and take place in the Nyathi area, home to the Big Five. The behaviours of certain Big Five species are monitored in this area and if necessary trails will be moved to a botanical reserve in the Park. There s no perfume as sweet as the fragrance of citrus blossoms, and few sights are as beautiful as a citrus orchard bursting with oranges and lemons. Keep in mind that some operations are closed off-season (and sometimes on weekends), so be sure to check in advance before you visit. Also, inquire when their harvest will be at its peak because there s nothing quite like seeing a citrus orchard going (and growing) strong.

12 The aim of the project is to play a part in conservation of the Cheetah (Acinonyx Jubatus), the re-establishment of pure gene lines, as well as educating the public to the importance of conserving of this amazing species. The Daniell Cheetah Project was established in May 2001 and started with just three cats and has grown since. Daniell Cheetah Project offers unique educational tours through the project by trained tour guides. On the tour you will be able to meet and learn more about Meerkats, Black Footed Cats, African Wild Cats, Servals, Caracals, Cheetahs, Leopards and Lions.
