1 2013 USA Roller Sports Region #3 Regional Qualifier August Hosted by: Tulsa Derby League Sand Springs, OK The Tulsa Derby League is proud to announce that we are hosting the 2013 USA Roller Sports Region #3 Regional Qualifier, August 10-11, in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. In 2012, the two month old Tulsa Derby League All-Stars competed in the inaugural USA Roller Sports North Central Regional Qualifier and became the tournament champions along with qualifying to compete in the 2012 USA Roller Sports National Championships. Competing against national and world class roller derby athletes, the Tulsa Derby League All-Stars placed 5 th at the National Championships. In August 10-11, 2013, teams from 17 states, (Oklahoma, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Illinois, Mississippi, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Alabama), will make up the USA Roller Sports Region #3 and will meet in Sand Springs, OK to compete to place in the top 3, (1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd ). The top three teams will advance to compete for the Seltzer Cup in the 2013 USA Roller Sports National Championships which will also feature men & juniors, held in Tulsa, OK October 25-27, The Tulsa Derby League would like to offer you a chance to promote your business with vendor booth opportunities, promoting your business within our event program (programs are provided to each individual players, family members, and spectators), and/or a banner advertisement that will be hung up during the two day 2013 USA Roller Sports Region #3 Regional Qualifier event. 4 Additional Values: The Tulsa Derby League is asking for donations to put together a gift basket for a tournament raffle prize. A stamp card will be provided to players, staff, family, and spectators to have stamped by each vendor they visit. Completed stamp cards will then be entered in a drawing on Sunday, July 11 th The winner must be present to win. Throughout the tournament, the Tulsa Derby League will be raffling off raffle prizes. We are asking for our vendors to donate any type of merchandise or product to both promote your company and raffle off. 5 Please Read Carefully Vendor Passes: Each Vendor will receive TWO badges for those employees working at the booth. Any vendor who knowingly sells, trades, or barters these passes, will be removed from the event, and NO REFUNDS will apply. (More passes will be available upon request.) Vendor Booths: Tulsa Derby League will provide an 8ft table(s) and 2 chairs. (More chairs will be provided upon request) Bottled water will be provided daily to each vendor booth. There will be Security managing the vendor area daily. Vendors selling roller derby products (skates, wheels, protective gear, bearings, etc.), will sell their skate product through SKATES ENTERTAINMENT CENTER. Terms of sales will be discussed prior to event. (SKATES ENTERTAINMENT CENTER WILL PROVIDE PRODUCT PRICING UPON CHECK IN.) Conditions of Agreement: As a Vendor at the 2013 USA Roller Sports Region #3 Regional Qualifier hosted by the Tulsa Derby League, August th, 2013, agrees and will adhere to the following conditions. Sales or promotions of any type of food items and glow products of any kind are prohibited. No pets allowed in the building- except service dogs. Absolutely NO FOOD OR DRINK is to be brought into the venue. Vendors may not split booths with another business. Only ONE business per booth. Storage is limited to each vendors booth. (If you need extra storage space please let the Tulsa Derby League representative know when submitting your application.) No audible music will be allowed at the Vendor booths. Vendor booth hours will be from the start of daily games to the end of daily games. Vendors may close down booths early in the evenings, but not as early as the 2 nd half of the second to last game of the day. On the last day of the tournament, Vendors will be allowed to close down booths before the championship games. If your booth requires lighting, or power please advise the Tulsa Derby League representative when submitting your application. You and/or your company will be responsible for damages. Vendors agree that TULSA DERBY LEAGUE, SKATES ENTERTAINMENT CENTER, and USARS shall not be liable or held accountable for any claims, losses, damages, death, injuries, or liability, which may be sustained or incurred by a person in the vending area. Vendors agree to indemnify and hold harmless TULSA DERBY LEAGUE, SKATES ENTERTAINMENT CENTER, and USARS from liability for claims, losses, damages, death, injuries, or events which may be sustained or incurred by any person in the vendor area as the result of any act or omission of vendor. The venue, SKATES ENTERTAINMENT CENTER, will be locked during non-competition hours. However, TULSA DERBY LEAGUE, SKATES ENTERTAINMENT CENTER, and USARS, will NOT be liable for damage or loss of vendors property through theft, fire, accident or any other cause. TULSA DERBY LEAGUE, SKATES ENTERTAINMENT CENTER, and USARS, will not assume liability for any injury that may occur to booth visitors, vendors, employees, or others. TULSA DERBY LEAGUE reserves the right to decline or prohibit any vendor, which in judgment is inappropriate to good sportsmanship, youth, or public display. This reservation is all-inclusive as to persons, things, printed matter, products, or conduct on items that may be misused to deface the venue. NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN TO CANCELLATIONS.
