For this reason every coach who enters 10 or more students will be given a cheque on the day for a sum totalling 10% of their entry fee. IE : your fee is 500 I give you a cheque of 50. This money can go towards your expenses or to your club funds that is your decision. All coaches wives/ husbands will be given a free entry coaches pass. Page 5

Kata section will be by way of knock out. Red and Blue Flags will be used. Kata rules are listed next to each category Compulsory gum shield, must be worn in kumite events, Approved red for Aka, blue for Ao mitts, red belt or blue belt will be worn, belt showing grades will not be allowed (please bring your own belts) All KUMITE COMPETITOR WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR RED OR BLUE WKF STYLE SHIN/FOOT GUARD. Only white karate gi will be allowed Competitors must have up to date licence / insurance PLEASE ENSURE YOU ENTER THE CORRECT CATEGORY, PLEASE CHECK HEIGHTS OF YOUR COMPETITORS. THERE WILL BE MANY JUNIOR AND NEW COMPETITORS TO TOURNAMENTS, TO ENCOURAGE THEM THE OFFICIALS WILL BE GENTLE & UNDERSTANDING WITH NOVICES. HEIGHT STICKS WILL BE ON EVERY AREA FOR KUMITE. IF YOUR COMPETITOR IS TO LARGE THEY WILL BE PREVENTED FROM ENTERING AND NO REFUND WILL BE OFFERED. MAKE SURE THEY ARE ENTERED CORRECTLY. Page 9.
