TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR: Mike Takata Day of Tournament: (865) LOCATION: HEALTH, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, AND RECREATION BUILDING 1914 Andy Holt Ave.; Knoxville, TN REGISTRATION AND WEIGH IN: Day of the tournament 9:30-11:00 A.M. ***SAVE TIME, REGISTER ONLINE Starting October 1, 2012, pre-register at Save time registering at the tournament. We will print your forms, and there will be a separate line at the tournament for those that pre-register! SHIAI 12:30 PM Eastern Standard Time RULES Current IJF Rules. Rules may be modified for the safety of the contest. JUDO GI ALL COMPETITORS MUST HAVE A WHITE JUDO GI. Players with only a blue judo gi will not be allowed to play if they are called as the white player. BRACKETS Modified Double Elimination. Round Robin if fewer than five entries MATCH TIMES Junior s and Master s: 3 minutes All Seniors: 5 minutes AWARDS 1 st, 2 nd, and 3 rd place medals in each weight division ENTRY FEE - $25.00 First Division, Additional Divisions $10.00 each. Make checks payable to Martial Arts Club DIVISIONS Masters seeding depends on entries Seniors Novice: White Belt Green Belt Advanced: Brown and Black Belt Open Division Single elimination. Separate men s and women s divisions if enough interest. Boys and Girls: 5-6; 7-8; 9-10; 11-12; 13-14; Note: All division will be divided into light, medium and heavy. Additional brackets may be added. ** Tournament Director reserves the right to add, delete or modify any Division

2 DIRECTIONS TO THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE Stay on I-40 to Exit 387 (Seventeenth Street). As you exit get into the right lane. Turn right onto Seventeenth Street. As you are going up over the hill on Seventeenth Street, get into the left lane (or else you will be forced to make a right turn you don t want at Cumberland). As you go along Seventeenth Street, go through two stop and go lights, one Stop sign, another Stop and Go light. (This is Cumberland Ave.). Keep going straight. (Do not turn on Cumberland). Seventeenth Street becomes Melrose Place at Cumberland. Continue winding up hill and stay on road with yellow line. You will dead end at Andy Holt Avenue. Turn right on Andy Holt Ave. Turn left at Pat Head Summit (your first left). HYPR Building (Health, Physical Education and Recreation) is the first building on your right. Park on street or there is a parking lot one-half block further on your left. Enter building on Pat Head Summit side. Room 202B is on the first floor. If you get lost, ask for the room with the rock climbing wall.
