Qualifications : Holder of nationality of the participating country One recommended by the National Association member of E.T.U. Holder of the Kukkiwon Poom or Dan Certificate. 5. Categories / Age: Junior Male and Female. One contestant per weight categories. Those, who were born between January 1st 1992 and December 31, 1995, are eligible to participate. 6. 4 Trophies for National Teams: The 3 first ranked teams (female, male and in total will each get a trophy). The ranking position of the teams will be decided by the Olympic System. All contestants and team officials participating in the European Championships will receive a certificate of participation. 11. Conditions for Participation: Round trip airfare and accommodation of room and board shall be borne by the participating National Associations. The entry fee of Euro per male team and Euro per female team - shall be enclosed in the entry forms for participation. 12. WTF or ETU -recognized Taekwondo Uniform (Dobok) and Protective Equipment: The participating contestants shall wear the WTF or ETU - recognized Taekwondo uniform (Dobok). The WTF or the ETU-recognized protective equipment of trunk protector will be provided by the sponsor. Groin guard, forearm, shin guard and headgear recognized by the WTF or the ETU shall be carried by the participants for their personal use. Wearing of the WTF or the ETU-recognized Taekwondo Uniform (Dobok) and protective equipment will be checked at the inspection desk before entering into the contest area, and any contestants wearing unrecognized Dobok and /or protective equipment shall not be permitted to compete. 3

5 15. Medical Control: Use of drugs or doping by any chemical substances prescribed in the WTF Regulations for Doping Control is strongly prohibited. The E.T.U. will carry out medical doping test among the winners at random sampling and any winner who refuses to undergo the testing or who proves to have committed a breach of the regulations for Doping Control shall be removed from the final standings, and a disciplinary action will be taken. 16. Indemnities: It is the responsibility of each National Association to ensure that their contestants have filled in the participation forms correctly and have signed them thereby indemnifying the organizers, the officials and other contestants from any claims of injuries, losses or otherwise arising in the course of participation in these championships or any activities linked therewith. It is the responsibility of each National Association to ensure that sufficient insurance coverage has been taken out for all officials and participants. Participants without proper participation entry forms and without sufficient insurance coverage will not be allowed to compete. 17. Head of Team Meeting and Drawing Lots: This will be conducted by E.T.U. - officials. The head of team meeting and drawing lots will be conducted one day prior to the competition in the presence of officials and representatives of the participating nations. The draw will be carried out from Fin weight to Heavy weight category in the English alphabetical order of the official names or the participating nations. An official will be designated to draw lots on behalf of the official of any participating nation not present at the draw. The order of the draw may be changed if this has been decided during the Head of Team / Manager. 18. Weigh-in: The weigh-in of the contestants takes place on the previous day of the weight division they compete. During the weigh-in, the male contestant shall wear underpants and the female contestant shall wear underpants and brassiere. However, the contestant may weigh-in nude if he/she wishes to do so. The weigh-in will be conducted once. However, one more weigh-in within the time limit of the official weigh-in will 4

6 be granted to those contestants who did not qualify the first time. 19. Closing date for entries: The closing date for receipt of entry forms by the organizer is April 15 th Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted. Strict compliance with the ruling is required. 20. Payments: All the payments (entry-fee and accommodation) should to be paid together at the same time to the organizer. Reservations and registrations are only valid when payments are received in the account 21. Accommodation: Accommodation charges for room and boarding of the teams will be born by the participating National Taekwondo Federations. Please note that hotel reservations that are cancelled after the deadline (April 15, 2009) will be fined with 50 % of the total hotel reservation cost. Hotel reservations that are cancelled after April 24, 2009 will be fined with 100 % of the total hotel reservation cost. 22. Transportation: Round trip airfare of the teams will be born by the participating National Taekwondo Federations. The organizing committee will arrange transportation from the train station (Svågertorp/Malmö Syd) to the official hotels and back as well as the transportation between the hotels and to the sport hall. Transportation will be organized for the teams that have made hotel reservations through the organizing committee. National Taekwondo Federations must fully fill in the attached Forms and return it to the Organizer before April 15 th Others: Each participating team should bring two delegation flags with size of 90 cm x 130 cm and a cassette tape of CD the national anthem. All contestants and officials participating in the 17 th European Junior Male and Junior Female Taekwondo Championships will receive a diploma signed by the E.T.U. President. Full particulars on other information together with the entry forms will be forwarded by the Organizer. 5
