I m sure that it will offer the chance of competing and building a healthy relationship all Karate competitors of differing age from children to senior. 3 Cadet :( 06/07/1997 ~ 05/07/1999) Kata Individual (Male & Female) Kumite Individual (Male : -52kg, -57kg, -63kg, -70kg, +70kg) Kumite Individual (Female : -47kg, -54kg, +54kg) Under Age 13(After 06/07/1999): will be classified by age as below Kata, Kumite Individual: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13years old (Categories may be combined by the Organizing Committee (OC)) Kata, Kumite Team : 6-7,8-9,10-11,12-13years old [In case of Team Kata, it is possible male, female or combined team (one girl & two boys or two girls & one boy) ] Each competitor can participate in more than 2 categories if he/she wants and as long as his/her age or weight fits in the categories. In other words, the number of participants is not limited. Every competitor attending this event should fill in the Entry Form to submit by registration deadline to KKF. Entry Form A May 31 st, 2013 Entry Form B June 20 th, Entry Fee The entry fee is USD 20 per each category and a fee of USD 10 is charged for each extra category. However, participants of the Kumite Individual Open (senior male & female) and the Team Kata (senior male & female) are charged 100 USD per category entry, because winners in those categories will receive the prize money. 8. Prize Kumite Individual Open (Senior male & female) Team Kata (Senior male & female) 1 st place winner 1,000 USD 1,000 USD 2 nd place winner 300 USD 300 USD 3 rd place winner (two teams) 100 USD 100 USD Each of 1st, 2nd, 3rd winners will be awarded medals & diplomas of honors. All participants will be awarded certificates & mementoes.

5 If you are looking for the accommodation providing cheaper cost, please contact Organizing Committee (OC) of the Korea Open Championships The confirmation will be confirmed officially only after the reception of a deposit corresponding to 50% of the global amount. You will receive an order form in order to pay the deposit (to confirm your booking). The balance has to be paid maximum 20 th June. After this date, a late penalty of 10% of the total amount of the booking will be asked. Accommodation Fee Free: The participant's accommodation fee being applicable to following conditions are free during competition period ( , total 5 nights & 6 days). 1) In case of more over 16 participants (except int l referees) per country, one chief or one coach is free. 2) The winners of the following championships will be free. This rule only apply to individual category winner, members of winning teams need not apply. : The champion of Asian game or continental championships/continental junior and cadet championships hosting by continental Federation. : Above bronze medalist of WKF world championship and World Junior and Cadet Championships * Notice * for individual who is applicable to above conditions should submit verification of the award to organizing committee for approval by 20 th June Transportation For participants' convenience, shuttles will be organized to transfer you from the airport (Gimhae) to Headquarter Hotel and from Headquarter Hotel to Competition Venue and back. 6 12. Referees Each delegation should participate in the game with at least one or two referees. That s because it cannot be taken by only Korean referees. Accommodation will be free for 2 international referees approved by WKF or AKF per country who sent entry. For individual those should submit documentary evidence to organizing committee on entry application and should have to be proved by 20th June Equipment All contestants must prepare their own WKF-approved protective gear. (Due to hygiene problem, the OC is not in charge of providing these items to all athletes.) 14. 14 TERM OF RESPONSIBILITY (by 20 th June 2013) Please fill out this form and send it back to the Korea Karatedo Federation on or before June 20, 2013 I, the undersigned, as the Chief of Delegation of my country/team, duly enrolled to participate in the 9 th Korea Open International Championships, which will be held in Busan, Korea from 5 th to 7 th July 2013, with full knowledge of the Statutes, the Rules and the Norms of the Korea Karatedo Federation, pledge myself to faithfully accomplish the regulations of this before mentioned entity, and I take any and all administrative, civil and criminal responsibilities of whatever happens to our athletes, coaches and other members of our delegation participating in this championships, before, during and after the competition, such as physical injuries, personal expenses, or monetary debts and casual material damages to the hotels, the venue, means of transportation, departure on time, etc. Furthermore, I exempt from any legal, civil or criminal responsibilities the organizers of the Championships, the Korea Karatedo Federation, its directors, as well as any person, company, or entity related to the event (sponsors, public and private entities). I authorize the organizers of the event to use images, photos and the names of our competitors and other members of our delegation (as considered necessary) for the sport activities and publications of karate, related to the event, without any monetary compensation.
