The QR3P Relese Plte included in ll 3 Legged Thing Punks Tripod Kits does not hve security bolts fitted, s bolts re incomptible with the Pek Design Cpture System. It is importnt tht you tighten your relese plte onto the clmp completely nd check, before use. We recommend plcing the ornge knob or switch hndle, UNDER the lens, where it cnnot be ccidentlly relesed. We hve engineered the security cutouts into ech of our AirHeds, nd n optionl QR6 Relese Plte with security bolts is vilble to purchse seprtely. The QR6 Plte is not comptible with the Pek Design Cpture system

5 Bsic Functionlity The Tri-Mount Plte comes with three hollow ends (), for connecting your strp, crbiner, or other comptible devices. The centrl bolt cn be removed nd reversed, s it hs both 1/4 nd 3/8 threds. c d In the bse of the centre column is D-Ring (c), which is used to connect either your strp, for crrying, or the bg, for bllst, using the Toolz crbiner (d).

6 Bsic Functionlity To remove the centre column, unscrew the D-Ring (), nd the collr (b). You cn then pull out the column (c), nd completely remove the collr (b). Your Tri-Mount Plte (d) should be unscrewed from the other end of the column, nd then crefully screwed directly to the cnopy (e). c d b e

7 Legs, ctches & locks In order to chnge the leg ngle or to stow wy your tripod you will need to pull down on the leg ctch () mneuver the leg into the desired position nd then relese the ctch. b To open nd extend the tripod legs simply grip the friction locks (b) in your hnd qurter turn, loosening the legs llowing you to select desired height. Once the required height hs been obtined lock the legs in plce by rotting bck to the originl position, which will fully engge the leg lock. The friction locks do not require to be undone further thn hlf turn, unless you intend to completely disssemble the legs for clening. Clening c It is dvised tht you wsh your tripod fter using it in slt wter or snd nd this cn be done by undoing ech leg. Tke ech individul leg lock nd unscrew until completely undone, nd gently pull the tubing () out, being creful not to lose the green plstic shim (b) (chicken lips), llowing you to clen the threds of the legs. Once clened, ensure tht the green chicken lips re in plce nd then crefully insert the leg, lining up the internl slot with the gp (c) in the chicken lips, nd tighten the leg lock in plce. b b The Monopod Leg The monopod leg is denoted by thin ornge ring () on one of the leg hinges nd cn be unscrewed directly from the leg hinge. Screw the detched leg into the bottom of the centre column (fter first removing the column from the tripod) to mke the monopod.
