It is with great pleasure that we invite you and the members of your school and/or organization to join in the celebration of our, Annual Florida Gold Coast AAU Taekwondo State Qualifier Florida Gold Coast AAU Tae Kwon Do Qualifier for Nationals and AAU Junior Olympics. Breaking and Weapons will be offered at this event. All Coaches that send in Application with proof of Kukkiwon Master will be Free. This event will be utilizing Daedo Electronic E-HOGU and E-Headgear For ages, 5 and over all ranks. (Please make sure you have your E-Footgear) order at: we will be selling E-Footgear at the event. The use of the Daedo EBP requires every competitor to wear a special foot protector which enables automatic electronic scoring. This foot protector has to be bought by the competitor themself and will not be provided for free by the organizer. Therefore all schools participating at the 2012 AAU Tae Kwon Do Qualifier are required to order the appropriate number of foot protectors for their team before March 24th This device (DAEDO E-HOGU) has been licensed by WTF and it is the only WTF approved PSS in the world and this event will be utilizing this system. (This year we will make exhibition fights for those that don t have anyone in their division. Our event will be held at the St. Thomas University Fernandez Family Center on Saturday March 24, We are working very hard to making this a safe and wonderful experience. We are hoping that our tournament will become one of the major significance in the uprising of future athletes. 4 Safety Equipment & Uniform All competitors must have a clean uniform and safety equipment Mouth piece, groin protector, shin protector and forearm protector). As defined in the 2012 AAU rule book. If you do not have all your equipment you cannot participate. We will supply Daedo E-Head gear and E- Chest Gear for this event. Athletes: Junior athletes should be prepared to present proof of age. This event is sanctioned by the Amateur Athletic Union of the U. S., Inc. All participants must have a current AAU membership. AAU membership may not be included as part of the entry fee to the event. AAU membership must be obtained before the competition. Participants are encouraged to visit the AAU web site to obtain their membership or Coaches Pass All Coaches that send in Application with proof of Kukkiwon Master will be Free All Coaches must be a current 2012 AAU member and a 2012 certified coach before they can coach. Take your Coaches Certification Course Online at Coaches must show proof of taking + passing the 2012 on line clinic (have to show your ID card) All coaches must wear the AAU blue coach s shirt and any color warm up pants. You can get your AAU coach s shirt at Mooto james@mooto.us All coaches must provide one photo 2x2 along with the payment of $20.00 for coach pass. Coach pass is mandatory, you will not be allowed to coach without it. Please join AAU at before the event. Referees Procedure of Instant Video Replay Review (Black Belts 14 and over only) In case there is an objection to a judgment of the refereeing officials during the contest, the coach of a team can make a request to the center referee for an immediate review of the video replay. All participating referees will be assigned by Master De Jesus. If you are a certified Referee/Official and wish to participate as a Referee/Official please contact us. All Referees/Officials must fill out the Referee pass form. All Referees/Officials must wear proper AAU attire as defined in the 2012 rule book.
