SEAKF Championships have been the major platform for all Karate Federations in South East Asia to interact and foster our friendships with each other. 4 I. EVENTS Date: April 21-25, 2018 Competition and training venue: Bac Ninh Sport Complex - Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam II. REGISTRATION & FEES 1. Registration: Each National Federation is allowed to register a maximum of 2 entries per individual category and 2 entries per team category. Registration will open from 1 st March 2018 until April 10, 2018 via sonhakarate@yahoo.com and swimmer176@gmail.com; lhhanh2502@gmail.com. Please make sure that all your delegation's data is correct within the established deadline. Registration and Verification will take place at the HQ Hotel from 09:00 to 18:00 on April 21-22, *Please submit a national anthem CD and two national flags (1m x 1.5m). 2. Fees: - SEAKF annual fee: USD 300 per NF - Individual Event : USD 50 per entry per person - Team Event : USD 100 per entry per team Note: Closing date for registration is April 10, Any amendment on registraion after the closing date will be charged 10 USD per ammendment Kindly make the payment to the Organizing Committee upon registration. Rule & Regulations The latest WKF/AKF Competition Rules will be adopted for the Championships unless otherwise notified by the Organizer or the Referee Commission in consultation with WKF/AKF Executive council

7 IV. OFFICIATING REFEREES All competing teams are encouraged to send WKF/AKF referees and judges to officiate in the Championship. The limited number of officiating Referees/Judges per NF only 10% from total athletes (e.g If NF sends 10 athletes, NF will have 1 Referee/Judge). Please note that OC will only handle full board accommodation for RC AKF & SEAKF. V. 11 VIII. INSURANCE No insurance is arranged for the participants at 7th SEAKF Championship, it is responsibility of all delegations to have your own insurance cover. IX. GENERAL INFORMATION Bac Ninh is a province of Vietnam, located in the Red River Delta of the northern part of the country. It is situated to the east of the Vietnamese capital, Hanoi. The province is rich in culture and is known nationally for Quan ho folk music. Bac Ninh s climate condition is featured by the influence of tropical monsoon and is clearly divided into four main seasons: Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. The annual average temperature is approximately 24ºC. There are two main seasons in one year: rainy season lasts from May to October and dry season lasts from December to April next year. Besides the tangible cultural values, Bac Ninh also possesses intangible values which are featured by the traditional festivals. Most festivals of the temples and pagodas in the province take place in spring. Therefore, after the Lunar New Year, Bac Ninh is a favorable destination for visitors from all over the country. Especially, for foreign tourists, Bac Ninh is famous for being the cradle of Vietnam s traditional folk song "Quan Ho". Quan Ho was recognised as the Intangible Cultural Heritage by the UNESCO in Bac Ninh is also well known for its traditional handicraft villages such as Dong KyWood, Dong Ho Paint, Dai Bai Bronze, and Phu Lang Pottery. Visitors can drop by and join in the daily life of the villagers. Especially, you can try making some products on your own and take them home as small gifts for your beloved ones.
