2 YOKO XC-SKI POLES YOKO pole line for winter is based on the most advanced materials and technology available on the market. Together with another high quality XC-Ski brand EXEL we have developed a completely new line of YOKO XC Skiing poles. When only the very best will do, then there can be no compromise on quality! When only the very best will do, then there can be no compromise on quality! YOKO Composite shafts The lightest of YOKO Composite shafts are made out of 100% carbon fiber (HM or HS). As an advantage we can deliver poles that are very light in weight and have really good balance properties. For high level / competition racing, we recommend YOKO 8100 SERIES POLES which has shafts built using a carbon fiber that ensures high stiffness properties (High Modulus Carbon Fiber). Weight, stiffness and balance are optimal in HM 100% composite shafts. Our 7100 SERIES POLES shafts are somewhat heavier than used for our 8100 series. The advantage with our 7100 SERIES poles is that they are more resistant to impact, due to fact that 7100 SERIES shafts are made of (HS CARBON FIBER). Our 7100 SERIES is not as stiff as 8100 SERIES but the two are very similar in balance properties and both series are very suitable for high level of XC Skiing. By replacing some of the carbon fiber with fiberglass has an advantage of increasing ruggedness. Although our 6700, 5400 and 5200 SERIES POLES are all made out of strong and durable shafts, the additional weight reduces the balance properties compared to 8100 and 7100 SE- RIES poles. Due to this fact we suggest our 6700 SERIES / 5400 SERIES / 4200 SERIES to be used by XC Skiing enthusiasts who love the sport of XC Skiing and want to use high quality poles that are almost as light weight as our top poles, but can take some more hits without breaking when enjoying XC Skiing.
