1 The Spreader PENSACOLA BEACH YACHT CLUB The best little yacht club on the gulf Commodore s Report Lots of fun was had in October! The Wave North Americans were held here at the yc on the 24th, 25th, and 26th. The event was well attended with 19 boats coming from as far as Iowa and Islamorada, FL. The racing and parties were top notch. Congrats to Tom Whitehurst for another well deserved victory. Thank you Joe Stanley for creating our beautiful trophies for the regatta. Kimi and friends went above and beyond decorating the club for Halloween. I have never seen it look so scary. The spread of food donated by the membership was amazing! We had plenty left over for Sunday. Check the website and our PBYC facebook for pictures of the Halloween costume contest, there were some good ones! I haven't heard any stories from the Halloween pub crawl yet, but I am sure they are coming. It was attended by around 15 people. November 2014 Vice-Commodore It s been great to see all the new faces at the club lately! Membership is continuing to grow, so come out to the club and meet some new people.
