2 FOURTH ANNUAL LET S GET LUCKY CASINO NIGHT We are excited to share a very special event with you: Lucky Dog Animal Rescue s Fourth Annual Let s Get Lucky Casino Night. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue (LDAR) annually gives thousands of animals a second, third, or even a fourth chance at finding a loving forever home. Not all animals are as lucky as our Lucky Dogs, but you can change that! By sponsoring casino night, you or your company can help us share the luck. Event Details Saturday, September 24, PM Hamilton Live (The Hamilton) th Street NW Washington, DC What s Included: Open Bar Live Music Food Silent Auction A Chance to Get Lucky During the event, guests will test their luck at craps, roulette, blackjack, poker, and the money wheel. At the end of the night, winnings can be used to purchase raffle tickets for exciting prizes! The $85 general admission ticket price includes 1,000 Lucky Dog Dollars to start the fun. All proceeds from the event will benefit Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, a volunteerrun 501c3 working to save dogs and cats from certain euthanasia. Every year, 3-4 million animals are euthanized in shelters across the country. Without organizations like LDAR, this number would be double. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a foster-based organization with no boarding facility of our own. Yet, since our founding in May 2009, we have rescued more than 8,500 animals from death s door and placed them in loving forever homes thanks to the tireless efforts of thousands of dedicated volunteers and the support of friends like YOU! 3 ABOUT LUCKY DOG ANIMAL RESCUE Lucky Dog Animal Rescue (LDAR) is a volunteer-based 501c3 organization working to save shelter dogs and cats from certain death. Since its founding in May 2009, Lucky Dog has rescued more than 8,500 dogs and cats from highkill, underfunded rural shelters. With no facility of its own and only two full-time paid employees, Lucky Dog relies on volunteers who welcome dogs at transports, provide them with loving foster homes, drive them to and from adoption events, and carefully screen prospective adopters. LDAR is an allbreed rescue and will not turn an animal away simply because he or she has an expensive medical condition.
