2 Dear Lucky Dog Friends and Supporters, We are excited to share a very special event with you: Lucky Dog Animal Rescue s First Annual Let s Get Lucky Casino Night. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue (LDAR) annually gives thousands of animals a second, third, or even a fourth chance at finding a loving forever home. Not all animals are as lucky as the Lucky Dogs and Cats, but you can change that! By sponsoring one of the casino night tables, you or your company can help us share the luck. For three special hours, guests will test their luck at craps, roulette, blackjack, Caribbean stud, and the money wheel. At the end of the night, winnings can be used to purchase raffle tickets for exciting prizes! The $95 ticket price includes 1,000 Lucky Dog Dollars to start the fun. All proceeds from the event will benefit Lucky Dog Animal Rescue, a volunteer-run 501c3 working to save dogs and cats from certain euthanasia. Every year, 3-4 million animals are euthanized in shelters across the country. Without organizations like LDAR, this number would be double. Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a fosterbased organization with no facility of our own, and only one paid employee. Yet, since our founding in May 2009, we have rescued more than 5,000 animals from death s door and placed them in loving forever homes thanks to the tireless efforts of thousands of dedicated volunteers and the support of friends like YOU! 3 Lucky Dog Animal Rescue Lucky Dog Animal Rescue (LDAR) is a volunteer-run 501c3 organization working to save shelter dogs and cats from certain death. Since its founding in May 2009, Lucky Dog has rescued more than 5,000 dogs and cats from high-kill, underfunded rural shelters. With no facility of its own and only one paid employee, the organization is run and administered by unpaid volunteers who welcome dogs at transports, provide them with loving foster homes, drive them to and from adoption events, and carefully screen prospective adopters. LDAR is an all-breed rescue and will not turn an animal away simply because he or she has an expensive medical condition.
