1 ASITA DKI JAKARTA NEWSFLASH No. 032/ASITA-DKI/NF/IX/2016 To all ASITA DKI JAKARTA Members, The 29th EXCOM and TPO Travel Trade Japan We are pleased to inform you that the 29th TPO Executive Committee Meeting and TPO Travel Trade 2016 Japan, will take place in Tokyo, Japan from 15 to 17 November, If you are interested in and intent to take part in TTT Japan, please fill out and submit the completed form as attached to you by the deadline on 26 September, Detail schedule will inform you in the early of October The Registration fee is USD The fee is inclusive of accommodation for 2 persons - And will cover all meals, transport service (airport pick up and drop off service), 1 day technical tour, 1 Roadshow outdoor booth (including installation and dispatching fee before and after the event), 1 interpreter (English - Japanese) for 2 days on both 15 and 16 November, costs for hiring event venues for the roadshow and B2B session at a hotel with the major outbound travel agencies, etc. (We strongly recommend you to arrive at Narita International Airport) For more detailed information on TTT Japan and the 29th EXCOM, please refer to the attachment 1 - General Information. We wish you continued success in all your endeavors. 2. It is our pleasure to inform you that the 29 th TPO Executive Committee Meeting and TPO Travel Trade 2016 Japan will be held from 15 to 17 November, 2016 in Tokyo, Japan. 3. For the purpose of promotion of the member cities tourism resources and products to citizens of Tokyo, we plan to operate Roadshow booths of the member cities. And a PR Presentation will be held in conjunction with the Road Show event to introduce the tourism resources of the participating member cities to the invited major outbound travel agencies from Tokyo, Japan. 4. If you intent to participate in TPO Travel Trade (TTT) 2016 Japan, please fill out the attached Intent to Participate Form and submit it to us before the deadline. 5 1 Objectives TPO Travel Trade 2016 Japan Introduce and promote the tourism resources and products of the TPO member cities to the citizens, outbound travel agencies and tourism related organizations from Tokyo, the biggest tourism market in Japan. Raise the cost effectiveness of the marketing efforts through collaboration among the member cities. Provide effective marketing opportunities for attracting Japanese tourists to the member cities. Strengthen mutual cooperation for the development of the tourism industry in TPO member cities. 2 Expected Results Provide strategic marketing and promotional opportunities for the effective promotion of the tourism resources, products, events and festivals of the member cities to the citizens, tourism related organizations, and the local outbound travel agencies from Tokyo, Japan. 1:1 on-site consultations and tourism product sales with major Japanese Local and international outbound travel agencies. Offer opportunities for the tourism product development of the member cities by initiating and organizing FAM tours through the in-depth consultations with the tour operators and the review of its results. Implement a PR Presentation targeting key Japan tourism players, and collect knowledge and gain a better understanding of the latest trends in Japan Tourism Market.
