Attendance: Head of Kenya Delegation, Expo Officials, invited participating countries and organization officials, media, partners and potential partners, general public, visitors to the Expo grounds Objectives: Celebrate Kenya with the World and to bring Kenya to the World within the expo frame work. Format: 1. Formal Expo tradition with flag raising ceremony, Pavilion visits with officials, cultural performances and cocktails in the evening. 2. Additional cultural performances, from dances to music, from art and craft to fashion and cuisines. These would all be set on a rotational basis amongst identified venues.

Market Kenya Format: The Forum will be conducted with 5 main elements: 1. Formal forum with opening address by the Head of the Kenya Delegation, Government officials from Kenya 2. Workshops, this would include sessions on Trade, Investment and Tourism 3. Exhibits and displays to showcase Kenya, its goods and services 4. One on one business meetings. 5. Sampling of selected Kenyan products i.e. Coffee; Tea; Edible Nuts etc

To drive the theme Feeding the planet. Energy for Life. 2. The event will also epitomize Kenya s enduring spirit while still magnifying the offers and the underlying national opportunities as Contribution towards feeding the planet. Format: 1. The event will leverage on sponsorship and endorsements by Kenyan and Italian corporate bodies. 2. To be executed in collaboration with Athletics Kenya, African Sport and Run2gether (Italy), and sponsors. It will target selected Kenyan Athletes under 21 yrs but accommodate Italians and visitors of all ages. participants as well as their Italian Counterparts. Kenyan legendary stars such as Paul Tergat who is the World Food Programme goodwill Ambassador among others will make guest appearance.
