3 THE TOWN OF PUCK Puck [pronounced: poo-t sk] is a town in the Gdańsk Pomerania region in northwestern Poland, on the shores of the Puck Bay on the southern coast of the Baltic. It is home to 11,350 inhabitants. Formerly in the Gdańsk Voivodeship, or Province ( ), it is now part of the Pomeranian Voivodeship and since 1999 it is the seat of the Puck Municipality. (soon) OFFICIAL PROGRAMME The Opening Ceremony will be held in PUCK, at 10 a.m. on 23 September 2018 The Closing Ceremony will be held in PUCK at 6 p.m. on 29 September 2018 TECHNICAL MEETING The first Technical Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on 22 September 2018, in the Hotel s conference room. Each team can send two representatives to the meeting. The second Technical Meeting will be held at 7 p.m. on 27 September TRAINING Starting from 22 September from 9 a.m. till noon and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the Bay of Puck (address: Żeglarzy 1). Annex No. 3 Travel Information TRANSPORTATION IN PUCK The Polish Deaf Sports Association will provide transportation to and from: 1.the airport or train station and the hotel 2.the hotel and the venues VISA INFORMATION Citizens of the following countries require Polish visas: Belarus, Russia, Ukraine,...,..., To send you an invitation to the event, first we need to have your personal data (first name, family name, date of birth, passport number and a copy of your hotel reservation). We can send you necessary forms by . In addition to the visa, you will need a medical insurance for each participant which is available from the Polish Embassy in your country. ACCREDITATION All participants of the 1st World Deaf Sailing Championships will receive themselves accreditations with a photo, giving to all participants free entrance to all competitions. To save time, please send us photos of all the participants to make on the accreditation tags. FAREWELL PARTY You are invited to a farewell party after the closing ceremony, starting at 8 p.m. on 29 September 2018 in the restaurant.
