COACHES: FINAL LIST FOR COACHES BACKGROUND CHECK WILL BE PRINTED JUNE 22, If your background check is not completed prior to June 22 nd you will not receive complimentary admission for Association Championships. ELIGIBILTY: Competitors must be 2015 USATF AGE VERIFIED members. The top eight (8) Individuals and Relays will qualify for the USATF Region 3 JO Championships at Christopher Newport University (Newport News, VA). div # name low age high age entry limit 1 8 & Under * 4 AGE VERIFICATION DEADLINE IS JUNE 19, 5:00pm *athletes born in 1996 must turn 19 after 8/02/2015. Entry Fees: Individual: $5.00/event Relays: $16.00 Triathlon/Pentathlon: $8.00/athlete Heptathlon/Decathlon: $10.00/athlete All entries must be pay online by 6/21/15 at 11:59pm WAIVER: All athletes who participate in the USATF Junior Olympic Program must complete the Junior Olympic Participant Waiver and Release form. This form is already integrated in the online entry system and can be completed electronically; it can also be obtained via your association. All forms must be submitted at the first round of the Junior Olympic series. AWARDS: USATF Junior Olympic medals will be awarded to the top eight (8) individuals and the top three (3) relay teams in each event of each age division. ADVANCEMENTS: The top eight individuals and relay teams in each event of each age division will advance to the USATF Region 3 Championships held on July 9-12 at Christopher Newport University (Newport News, VA). The National Junior Olympic Championships will be held from Monday, July 27th to Sunday, August 2nd at Hodges Stadium at the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, FL. The top 5 athletes at the Region 3 Championships will qualify for the National Championships, in combined events the top 2 athletes will qualify. Information is available at: Calendar/2015/2015-USATF-National-Junior-Olympic-Track---Field-C.aspx EVENT CHECK-IN: There will be separate check-in areas for Running and Field events. Athletes must check in at these designated areas 45 minutes prior to the event's scheduled starting time. All athletes will be required to remain in the designated warmup areas after checking in. COMPETITION BIB NUMBERS: All competitors must wear their assigned bib numbers during competition and on the front on their jerseys only. If an athlete loses the bib number, a replacement can be purchased for a fee of $5.00. EVENT RESULTS: During competition, event results will be posted on site. In addition, event results will be posted at PROTESTS: There will be a $50 fee for all protests. Protests must be submitted to the Protest Referee at once and not later than 30 minutes after a result has been announced. The protest fee will be refunded if the protest is upheld. RULES CONDUCT & FACILITY: Facility and USATF competition rules will be followed GATE ADMISSION FEES: $5.00 per day: 4 Day Pass $15.00 Free: USATF Member coaches who have completed 2015 USATF background screening, participating athletes, children (under 5).
