Individual Awards Medals will be awarded to the top four athletes in the respective classifications and weight divisions of the pertinent championships: 1 st PLACE: GOLD MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 2 nd PLACE: SILVER MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 3 rd PLACE: BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE 3 rd PLACE: BRONZE MEDAL & CERTIFICATE ii. Team Awards Based on the point system below, the top five (5) teams of the Men s division and the top five (5) teams of the Women s division will receive trophies: RATIONALE NO. CONTESTANTS An approved WTF Global Licence (WTF Global Athlete Licence OR Global Official Licence) is required by all athletes and officials who wish to register for the 15 h SPANISH TAEKWONDO OPEN. WTF Global Licence registrations & renewals can only be made through the WTF recognized Member National Associations and application should be made at least 2 months before the Tournament starts to ensure the WTF licence can be processed and approved in time. There will be NO WTF Global Licence registration onsite. View the WTF Licence Registration Process in the following 8 languages: ENGLISH FRENCH KOREAN SPANISH ARABIC GERMAN PORTUGUESE RUSSIAN Coaches need GOL (WTF GMS number) and continental coach license (if applicable) 11. CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION i. Airfare and Accommodation Round trip airfare and accommodation charges of room and board shall be borne by the participating teams ii. 4 12. CLOSING DATE FOR ENTRIES REGISTRATION DEADLINE March 13 th 2017, at 15:00h. CET Registration is only accepted online through the page SIMPLY COMPETE MODIFICATIONS: Modifications are possible at the registration for an amount of 25,00 for each modification. ACCREDITATIONS: Extra coach passes can be requested separately for 25,00 euro for each individual coach. Coaches need WTF GMS number and (if applicable) continental coach licence. Please note that only 1 competitor and 1 coach can enter the competition area. National teams are allowed to have following accreditations: 2 MNA officials, 1 official doctor (not second coach), 1 coach Club teams can only register coach accreditations all other accreditations are not allowed. Please note that for every 5 competitors 1 coach is granted free admission. Extra coach passes can be purchased separately. IMPORTANT: If the athlete registered on-line does not take part in the competition, but he/she has not been removed from the list of participants before the deadline (before 13 th March at 15:00h. CET) his/her team or official must fully (100%) pay his/her Entry fee for participation. Entry fee is not refundable at any time after the deadline. 15. MEMBERSHIP: All participants require a WTF Global License and must be a member of a National Taekwondo Federation. This membership must be proved during registration by providing a valid WTF Global License. ON-SITE registration for WTF GAL is NOT POSSIBLE and registration must be done IN ADVANCE. A Global Athlete License check will be done at onsite registration before any individual is allowed to compete. All competitors have to proof their age and nationality by presenting their passport, vigor GAL license and identification card at the weigh-in. 16. INTERNATIONAL REFEREES The following conditions shall apply: i. International Referees are required to pay for their own roundtrip airfares. ii. The Organizing Committee shall pay for the expenses for four (4) nights stay of room and board. Check-in: March 23 rd (Thursday) / Check-out: March 26 th (Monday) iii. The Organizing Committee shall pay a per diem of US$100 to the mentioned International Referees for each competition day. Page 4 / 11

TECHNICAL DELEGATE AND COMPETITION SUPERVISORY BOARD The WTF will appoint the Technical Delegate and the members of the Competition Supervisory Board, upon consultation with the WTF Technical Committee Chairman. 18. WTF-RECOGNIZED TAEKWONDO UNIFORM (DOBOK) AND PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT i. Participating contestants are required to wear WTF-recognized doboks and WTF-recognized protective equipment. The latest version of WTF-recognized manufacturers list is available at the website of WTF ( ii. The Organizing Committee will provide the WTF electronic body protectors DAEDO to the participating contestants. Participating contestants are required to bring along their own groin guards, mouthpieces, gloves, sensing socks, head protector DAEDO, and shin and forearm guards for their personal use. Before entering the field of play, all contestants will proceed to the inspection desk for inspection of their doboks and protective equipment. Any contestant who wears unofficial doboks or protective equipment will not be permitted to compete. 19. MEDICAL CONTROL i. The WTF Anti-Doping Rules, and where necessary the Code of the World Anti-Doping Agency, shall apply throughout the competitions. ii. Compulsory anti-doping tests will be made for all medallists, while random tests will be conducted for the athletes who have lost to semi-finalists at quarter-final. The WTF and/or WADA may carry out random out-of-competition testing prior to the championships. Therefore, all participating contestants are required to submit their latest and most accurate Athlete Location Forms. 20. INDEMNITIES i. The respective national taekwondo associations shall be responsible for ensuring that their participants have validly completed and signed the official participation forms, thus indemnifying the organizers, its officials and other contestants from any claims of injuries, losses, fatalities or otherwise arising in the course of participation in this championships or any activities thereto. ii. The respective national taekwondo associations shall be responsible for ensuring that all officials and participants are covered with effective insurance coverage. iii. Participants without proper participation entry forms and effective insurance coverage will not be allowed to compete at the championships. iv. The Organizing Committee will acquire general insurance, at its own expenses, for the contestants and staffs, in the event of any injury that may arise during the course of the championships.
