4 !!! Safety!!! The Cmpetitr must at all times: Keep the finger utside the trigger guard while clearing a malfunctin. Keep the finger utside the trigger guard during lading, relading, r unlading. Keep the finger utside the trigger guard while mving during a curse f fire. Shter may start with safety ff and finger n trigger. Failure t cmply will result in a stage warning. Tw warnings n a single stage will result in a stage disqualificatin. Stage disqualificatin will result in a recrded time f 90 secnds, 30 secnds fr each string. A Cmpetitr wh causes an unintentinal discharge will be stpped by a Safety Officer as sn as pssible. A rund striking the start target results in a stage disqualificatin. A rund striking between the shter and the start target results in a stage disqualificatin. If at any time during the curse f fire, a Cmpetitr allws the muzzle f the firearm t pint rearward, that is t break the "170 degree rule" as defined by the Safety Officer, the Cmpetitr will be stpped immediately. Such an actin will result in a stage disqualificatin. If at any time during the curse f fire, r while lading, relading r unlading, a Cmpetitr drps a firearm r causes it t fall, laded r nt, it is t be retrieved nly by the Safety Officer. Drpped firearms must always be retrieved by a Safety Officer wh will, after checking and/r clearing the firearm, place it directly int the Cmpetitr's gun case r gun bag. Drpping an unladed handgun r causing it t fall utside f a curse f fire is nt an infractin; hwever, a Cmpetitr wh retrieves a drpped gun will receive a match disqualificatin. Drpping a laded gun will result in a match disqualificatin. HAVE FUN, BE SAFE

6 Shting Frmat Safety Meeting Lading All shters and spectatrs must wear eye and ear prtectin. N Gun is t be laded EXCEPT n the firing line. D Nt Break the 170 degree rule. Fllw all the directins f the Range Office (RO). Must take place under the supervisin f the RO Yu MUST SHOW that yur gun is CLEAR. Magazines may be laded befre cming t the firing line, but cannt be inserted until instructed. High capacity magazines are allwed. Cunt yur runds (Firing mre than 11 runds n a string will result in a penalty) NO RELOADS ON A STRING COWBOY ALL CHAMBERS CAN BE LOADED LOADING WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE FIRING LINE ONLY. All guns must be pinted dwn range at all times. Cwby - Stage guns nt the table. Semi Aut yu may place yur laded magazines in the table.

(Pinting at the start target) STANDY BY TIMER BEEP SHOOT THE STAGE AS DIRECTED. SHOW CLEAR / GROUND GUN Remve yur magazine, eject any runds, and shw the gun clear if all strings have been cmplete, r grund the gun. MAKE READY NEXT STRING Switch guns and r magazines / Make the gun ready. Repeat until stage is cmplete SHOW CLEAR BEFORE LEAVING THE FIRING LINE Unlading Must take place under direct supervisin at the Firing LINE Shw that yur gun is clear. Shw yur magazines are clear. Chambers are t be pen. Return yur guns t strage.

8 Scre Card Yu must submit yur scre card fr the stage when yu arrive t sht the stage. Yu will sht each stage 4 times. Yur scre is a cmbinatin f Time, plus Penalties. The highest scre will be remved. Yur scre will be the cmbinatin f the lwest scres. Scring Scre is ttal time plus penalties. Targets 5-7 Targets can be sht in any rder. THE STOP TARGET MUST BE SHOT LAST. Maximum scre is 30 secnds. Target that is missed after striking the stp plate 2 secnd penalty Shting the stp target ut f rder - 30 secnd penalty Stage Disqualificatin 90 secnd penalty 2 nd Stage Disqualificatin = Match Disqualificatin
