2 EYE PROTECTION About the Range UniSafe provides a range of eye protection products essential in many industries to protect operators against flying particles, liquid, chemical and hot solids, radiated heat and glare. The UniSafe range of safety spectacles and goggles offer the user protection from eye hazards including medium impact flying fragments. The lenses are manufactured from polycarbonate, certified for medium impact protection and available in a range of tint options for varied work options. Scott Safety also manufacture and market a comprehensive range of accessories to compliment the UniSafe eye protection products including safety helmets, faceshields and hearing protection, all designed to the same high standard. COMFORT & COVERAGE Comfort is an important consideration. Comfortable eye protection increases user acceptance. Coverage is very much a factor that must be considered particularly as velocity increases.

3 UNISAFE LENSES Polycarbonate Polycarbonate is a lightweight, durable, robust material with high optical quality. The UniSafe range of safety spectacles and safety goggles are tested and certified to Australian and New Zealand Standards. All UniSafe eye protection have a medium impact rating for protection from flying particles, liquid, chemical and hot solids, radiated heat and glare in industrial situations. Anti-Scratch The UniSafe eye protection range is treated with an Anti-Scratch coating which increases lens durability. Anti-Fog (AF) Within the UniSafe range there are selected styles that have Anti-Fog treated lenses. This coating assists in preventing fogging in humid conditions. Anti-Static UniSafe safety spectacles and goggles provide a natural resistance to repelling dust. 100% UV Protection All UniSafe safety spectacles and goggles whether clear, amber or tinted lenses will provide 100% UV protection from solar radiation. 4 LENS TINTS Clear (C) Clear provides excellent optics for general applications where impact protection is required. Nominal 90% VLT. Smoke (S) Smoke is ideal for outdoor use where light and glare can cause eye strain and fatigue. Nominal 12% VLT. Brown (B) Brown is suited to outdoor use where light and glare can cause eye strain and fatigue. Nominal 12% VLT. Amber (A) An amber tint blocks the blue portion of the visible light spectrum, creating maximum contrast enhancement, particularly in low light. Nominal 88% VLT. Silver Mirror (SM) Mirror coating reflects light, reducing the amount of light that passes through the lens. For outdoor use where sunlight and glare cause eye strain and fatigue. Nominal 40% VLT. Blue Mirror (BM) Mirror coating reflects light, reducing the amount of light that passes through the lens. For outdoor use where sunlight and glare cause eye strain and fatigue. Nominal 30% VLT. Photo Chromatic Adjust (Transitional) (T) The UniSafe Adjust Lenses adapt to varying light conditions. Indoor to outdoor in 8 10 seconds, and outdoor to indoor in as little as 35 seconds (Category 1 to category 3). Ideally suited to outdoor applications where transient workers move between shaded and unshaded (indoor/outdoor) conditions. Nominal 53% - 16% VLT. Polarised (SP) Polarised protects from glare that is magnified by flat surfaces like water or pavement in addition to shiny surfaces like chrome or metals. Polarised eliminates eye stress and fatigue. Nominal 14% VLT. Shaded 3 & 5 Green shade 3 is a lens developed to provide IR and UV protection when assisting a person gas welding, cutting, soldering and brazing. Green shade 3 is not suitable for electric arc welding processes. Green Shade 5 is designed for high glare applications only. These include furnace work and molten metal operations. 11 The UniSafe Roxby multi-purpose medium impact spectacle transforms from a traditional safety spectacle into a compact elastic strap eyeprotector. With easy fit clip on side arms and an elasticised strap. This UniSafe spectacle is three options in one.
