2 Cockpit 1027 Roadbook RB-TT *MvG* For the first time ever, step motors are being used in this new Roadbook holder. Using an intelligent control that recognises the entire length of the Roadbook and the position (beginning... end), these step motors are controlled in normal operation to ensure that an even feeder speed is achieved for the Roadbook. However, much higher step motor revolutions are used for fast rewinding. A quick press of the remote control moves the Roadbook forward by one picture; the picture height can be set between approx. 50 and 1 00 mm. This greatly increases the safety, since the rider is not so distracted when moving on to the next picture. The Roadbook lighting adapts automatically to the prevailing light conditions. 4 Cockpit 1029 RB-TT We used our many years of experience to design our roadbook holder. It features a unique DOUBLE MOTION drive which means that two motors control paper movement. The paper is always tightened and cannot unwind even with strong vibration. We deliberately decided not to use rubber driving belts which are prone to ageing and cracks. We have chosen a direct drive instead. The RB-TT standard package includes a lighting kit and handlebar control. The roadbook holder is easy to mount and the electrical connections are simple. Just connect two cables to the power supply. Then plug in the handlebar control. The handlebar bracket is pre-assembled and is rubber mounted. 7 1032 IMO-100R50 Rallye The rallye computer! The IMO-100R50 Rallye is the new rallye computer from TOURATECH. It combines the tried and tested rallye functions of the IMO-100R with very small dimensions (93 x 57 x 33 mm). The IMO-100R50 Rallye has a robust, waterproof aluminium housing. Although it has been conceived as rallye computer, it can be used as replacement instrument (German TUV Type Approval). The IMO-100R50 Rallye easily connects to your motorcycle s electrical system. It accepts 6 to 30 volts Ac or DC supply. A magnet for the wheel, and the wheel sensor are included. An optional handlebar remote control can be plugged into the IMO-100R50 Rallye directly. Particularly with cars it is difficult to find a good place on the wheel for the magnet and the sensor and, for example, the drive shaft is once more placed underneath up to the wheel and there are too many pulses per wheel revolution. Even with quads the wheel size can be too small to set it on the IMO. We have designed a pulse splitter for these problems. You can use this to reduce (split) the pulses by factors of 2, 4, 8 and 1 6. This pulse splitter is simply connected to the sensor lead, the split factor is set and there you are with the right speed on the display even though the number of revolutions on the drive shaft, for example, is twice as many as the wheel revolutions
